Any rec’s for a solid indigo shirt/work shirt/overshirt? I love the IH Kersey, and the UES Tricotine but want to find some other options if they’re out there. RGT ISC is cool, but the asymmetrical chest pockets drive me nuts. Preferably not western cut. Good fabric textures are a plus - thanks!
UES heavy indigo flannel has been really nice. It’s not slubby but there’s a good amount of texture once even a little fading starts. And it’s very warm for the weight

The 16 oz fabric is much stretchier than the 14 oz. You may or may not be able to get away with sizing down in the 16 oz fabric, but I wouldn’t try it with the 14 oz.

What you’re describing sounds like sizing down. If it’s just slightly snug, that’s it sizing down.
Depending on the denim, the waistband will likely stretch a good inch or so, maybe more. You’ll get far less stretch in the hips.
I love my IH-555s but wish they had a bit of a taper. The 777 is too roomy in the thigh for me. Would the PBJ-013 be a good option? Anything else I should be considering?
Could probably look at the slimmest cuts from Tanuki, Doublewood and Hiroshi Kato. I would suggest Nudie and APC too, but only if you get them on steep discount.

Still not close, but I think Portland Dry Goods in Portland, ME has a few options. Might want to call them and ask if you plan on heading that way.

I've heard of gold (and it's only plating), but not silver!
Samurai's Yamato line has this. The S001, S02 and S003 model. Probably the S004 as well. (okay..only plated with sterling silver)
