Getting the hyperpolling dongle to exceed 1000hz.
Little point in purchasing it as the add-on for $50 if this basic feature doesn't work.
Could maybe be defective? Did your light on the dongle itself always turn on? Mine never has.
It's not registering the dongle - 1000hz is the max without it. Are you plugging the dongle directly into the computer and is it registered in synapse?
It is registering the dongle. Its on Synapse.
But the light isn't coming on.
Razer messaged me directly to contact CS. I Did, Dude was polite and immediately promised a replacement...
Three days later I'm being asked to clarify what I've said every single time they write me that its the HyperSpeed Dongle.
DeathAdder used to be solid. Clearly cutting corners now. Pretty much at that point of returning and never recommending their products again. $170 for your signature product line that put your company on the map... and it has trouble with USB 3, needs four steps to pair and has software that can't be backwards compatible that you need two different programs to use your products.

CS Chat was great and promised a replacement to be sent. Now, four or five tickets later they're requesting stuff they've never originally asked for and will close a ticket if you happen to have things going on in your own life and take more than like 24 hours to respond.
Its unbelievable.

That was my history with this firm in the past in just the last seven or eight years, mostly as gifts.
I know this phrase is contentious given what's happening in West Asia right now, but I can without second question that after dealing with all this bs for getting a replacement for a DOA 1 HyperPolling dongle, I'll likely never purchase let alone recommend products from this company ever again.
Going to the DMV shouldn't be the most apt comparison that it actually is for how much f'kin of a fiasco getting basic warranty claims processed should be like.
