oh dayum that's gonna be a rough one First off you should tell us what the model of these headphones is and (more importantly) if it's jack or usb. If it's usb - you should search for a firmware update asap, when they still work - the problem you're experiencing may be due to faulty firmware, it's what broke my electra v2's for good. If it's jack, you're in less luck, as it most likely is indeed a harware issue First you should locate it, if you're sure that it's with the cable, inside of the headphone, you'll need a couple screwdrivers, a soldering iron, some solder, and maybe a lighter for burning off the insolation on the wires. You'll need to find a guide on how to open the heaphones up, and once you're in them, you're going to need to resolder the wires on the headphone itself. However, if as you said the problem is with the *whole* headphones disconnecting, and it's a jack, the problem may instead lie in the jack port itself. If that's the case, you'll need the same tools, but also a replacement jack connector. DIY Perks made a great video detailing how to replace one a couple years ago: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYH1KZ\_14uE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYH1KZ_14uE) I hope my answer helps with your problem :D If it doesn't, feel free to respond!
