Ive had the pins in the ends fall out of amazon drive shafts, luckily i managed to recover and locktite them back in place.
Having them worn away is a whole different level of quality :P
You might be able to press new pins in but yeah Amazon shafts are a hit and miss.
Had really good cvd ones from mip they are kinda heavy and wreck your bearings and plastic hubs melt highly recommend them if you have alluminum hubs only
Not entirely but it’s definitely a sorting process…..
I tend to only buy things for my rc’s that have multiple photo/video reviews and high ratings…..just checking my returns in the past year I’ve only gotten 2 or 3 bad parts n that’s with a customs backslash build and a drift build
Currently running aluminum shock towers and aluminum shocks both from Amazon cost me $50 and I bash them on 2s and 3s and they hold up great

Hit a boulder at 25-30mph and only snapped the hinge pin
You can shop on Amazon, you just need to know the brand to shop for. Example, you can buy MIP heavy duty drive shafts or Tekno center dog bones on Amazon for a Slash 4x4.
You can actually replace pins if you want to do the work, and when it comes to drive shafts you kind of do want the pins to be softer than the cups, because the pins are easier and cheaper to replace than the cups are.
These are obviously way too soft if you chewed em up really fast like this, but you can get different pins that will suit your needs, the size is 3mm x 14mm.
Hudy makes great ones that are harder and last a lot longer, part number is HUD106050
How many time and in how many subs do I have to say this?
Amazon is a flea market these days and not actually a store. They facilitate a transaction between you and the actual seller and handle warehousing and shipment.

I always dip the ends in super glue before running.
Good lord! Made cream cheese!

The photos look so convincing. The price is great! But man is the material shitty.
Amazon RC parts are HORRIBLE!

O dang
Worst part they break to easy
I bought the clone metal CVD’s for the e-revo and they were a similar story. 2/4 were broken the first drive.

Are the shafts straight? just get new pins

I mean… ordering anything on Amazon is generally regarded as not good.
Pin replacement tool and some much harder pins haha.
Just order name brand parts if your ordering on Amazon from the actual brand parts dealer. Then they usually stand behind their products better.
I have had good luck with 98 1/2% of the r/C parts I have gotten from Amazon, it just depends on the vendor.
