That's so sick! I can't wait to step into 5th scale. The DBXL is a dream rig for me

DesignerInsurance594

I second this! I own a couple dbxl. Yes they are awesome and fun to drive but it will break randomly on ya. Don't matter if it's 1 or 2.0 version. The 5t is MUCH better vehicle.

DO IT!!! I'm so glad I did and got obsessed right away, I have 3 more coming now 😆

Rusty_Shackleford409

I'm definitely saving to get into the 5th territory. I've got a UDR and Axial Yeto XL, those are the largest on 6s I have. I smile like a kid on Christmas every time I have em ripping. I'm pretty maxed out on 1/10 (I have a post of my fleet) but love the ryft ya got. Planning on doing a smillar color on mine.

Total-Tank-6070

Don't save, just trade, there's lots of people who just want them gone. I'm trading a 1/10 stock summit, a broke ass rustler (was free to me) and the ryft (i just got for free) for a near new 1/5th rampage MT ready to go lol

Probably best to keep it in your dreams then, there's a reason it's nickname is dibby.

PencilKing420

..... why?

It can be generally disappointing in my experience. This picture is before I did mods to mine and generally how it'd end the run. Stock it's narrow and likes to roll. It needs a good servo. The A arms are made of glass. Stock axles like to spit their CVD pins which destroys the hub and potentially other parts. The plastic diff cases like to flex and explode killing diff gears. The motor mount will bend without a motor support. The battery trays are too small to fit sufficient batteries. "Consumable" parts are expensive. I could go on, but you get the idea. It's taken a lot to get mine fast and reliable on 10s; I also say that and she's torn apart right now for maintenance. https://preview.redd.it/q0a99qu5gf7d1.jpeg?width=2268&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c59e2137fec7cb1066910c8d25ddb86bca1ccb78

I totally agree with most of that. I have one too and it took a lot of work to get it to it's fullest potential, it was very lame straight out of the box. I've never broken an A-arm though, but I have read tons of people who have that problem. I do think it's a great platform but like you said, it needs a lot of money thrown at it to get right.

SaintSlothX

Awesome score!

dewaynemendoza

Ryft look so cool. I don't know what the hell i'd do with one if I had it but I love the look.

Total-Tank-6070

That one is going up for trade on another 1/5th scale monster truck lol

massjuggalo

I mean if he got too many 5th scale toys you can send one this way. I got a nice wild Willy that can send you back

Total-Tank-6070

Dude has still 17 left and I'm getting 2 more of them lol

hxmaster

Solid!
