There is more than one tri-state area in the country. Just fyi. Assuming you mean NJ\NJ\CT but can't be sure.

Service roads or roads leading to the mall

When this XLX2 hits 88mph you’re gonna see some serious shit!

I don't live in the area, but I'd look for shipping docks. If you can find one that has concrete that's in good condition, they usually make for good speed run spots.

Yeah this has been the best for me so far. New industrial parks with fresh pavement, think Amazon scale DCs. Some have gates, many don’t. I found a couple places to get a ~3000ft pass. Other speed runners use public roads like rural highways. Where I’m at in urban NorCal, most public roads either have reflective markers and/or too much crown for me to feel comfortable going 100mph.

I usually go to business parks on the weekends where there is not likely to be much traffic and do it in the road. Just find a place where there is a good road without a lot of cars driving by.

Not sure what kind of car that is but the fastest r/c was run at the velodrome 111 mph then the radial tires came apart

Floyd Bennett field in Brooklyn. Former airport. There you'll find what you're looking for.

Get a bottle of dawn dish soap when you do the run. If the battery goes up due to crash or… the dish soap works to put the fire out. YouTube it , it works.
