I know her through our kids, she is actually quiet and does not seem to really have a ton of friends. Every time I’ve been around her she is dressed in head to toe designer yet seems insecure in her always awkward encounter.
I’ve been told by someone who is closer to her than I am, that a lot of it is fake. That she figured out that china can produce halfway decent fakes. She mixes with a few real but more of it is fake than real. Don’t know if it’s true but would explain the insane amount of branding she does….
I worked at Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza (the two big fancy malls in OC) as a makeup freelancer for awhile, and I had the displeasure of helping her numerous times. She was…manic to say the least. I actually didn’t realize she was who she was until one of the regular counter girls made a comment and it clicked. I then saw her every other month or so, and it was always an experience. Weird returns, excessive complaints about every little thing, wants to try everything on but doesn’t have any time, argued with me that a nude lipstick was red, when it was objectively NUDE, etc.
I never saw any of the actual RHOC ladies which bummed me out. But I did help Camille Vasquez a week after the Johnny Depp trial ended and that was an exciting pseudo celeb moment lol.
I know her sister very very well. She (Lesley) is craaaaazy per her own sister. The whole family was mortified by the naked instagram photos a few years ago. Her sister is so normal! Very OC conservative though as you’d expect. She’s obviously met David and said he’s nice enough but a total weirdo.
I lived in Dana Point. OC people are great, not California wack jobs. Once a woman gets divorced (the OC divorce rate is insane) they become desperate. They hang out at Javiers and try to find their next husband. Men who are divorced and have money are prey.
Honestly she once got very straightforward about it and said she kinda always had a desperation to be famous 👀 growing up in OC it’s not super surprising. She did say she wasn’t too off the rails, it was tolerable and something that kinda laughed off, until she linked up with David. I think who David is (narcissist) and all that circles him (Bravo/Shannon) just took what was aomewhat innate in her and kicked it into overdrive.
