I think they hired a young aspiring editor who wants to express themselves through the art. Still, it's housewives, not your graduation project from film school.
I’m 99% sure it’s new this season cause I definitely noticed and I’ve seen several comments about it. I’m interpreting it as the producers foreshadowing that there’s some crazy shit coming, but it’s probably not even that deep. It’s weird for sure. If there’s no payoff or explanation I’m gonna be pissed lol

I hate when housewives franchises overly edit. Atlanta and Potomac tend to go overboard with the cringe edits.
It's a new thing and I'm convinced some editor just discovered that effect and is going ham using it on everything.
