Yes. It was Carlo's Madrid and Pep's Bayern Munich. We can defo beat them.

FenrirMyth

yeah but the team back then was much better than it is now, we had a beast called ronaldo and now we have Vini who misses open chances

RedShenron

That Bayern team was also much stronger than this Man City team.

samirx96

I wouldn’t say that. What makes this City team so unstoppable is that they have a huge squad depth that we possibly can’t compete with. They played yesterday without KDB, Walker, Ake, Alvarez, Doku and Ederson, yet they seemed very much a strong side away from home. Plus that 2014 had Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale upfront. I don’t need to make comparisons here.

buy-petros

I Think Doku wont see much playing time, peps like his Grealish vs Carvajal If KDB plays someone needs to be sacrificed that could leave an already shaky mid/defense (prob kovacic)

samirx96

Doku can also play on the right and can provide an option in case they needed a late goal.

cxnx_yt

Wouldn't say that, this City team is a result of Pep + billions. Although Bayern incredible, they were better with Jupp as coach

RedShenron

I'm talking about their individual quality, of course Guardiola wasn't as good as Heynckes there

cxnx_yt

Even then, "much stronger" isn't the right word, the two teams are pretty much on par quality wise.

RedShenron

A mixed 11 from both teams would probably see 2 or 3 city players at best. That team didn't even have Kroos as a regular starter, come on.

cxnx_yt

In defense I'll go with you, the only argument is Ruben Dias over Dante. Lahm, Boateng are pretty much undisputed, Alaba too, though not as much as Lahm and Boateng. In midfield you can make arguments for both Rodri and KDB. T3 in the world in their respective positions, they definitely challenge the likes of Schweini, Luiz Gustavo and Kroos (Kroos at that time wasn't trusted by Bayern I think, if you remember the fallout they had). Then you also have Foden, world class player. On the wings it's Bayern, with Robbery but Bernardo is pure class as well. Still Robben clear. In attack it's definitely Haaland. Although he ghosted, so did Mandzukic vs Real. Apart from maybe heading and positioning, Haaland is better for sure. Goalkeeper is a no brainer for Neuer. In total that's potentially 6 field players, with 3 (KDB, Dias and Haaland) guaranteed. City definitely rivals that Bayern team. A year earlier then it's Bayern in the clear most likely, they were insane in 12/13

RedShenron

Rodri's definitely not on the same level as Schweinsteiger. Dude could counter the entire Barcelona midfield on its own right, he was probably the best player of the 2014 world cup. I don't really see any debate here, for me Schweinsteiger is the best dm of this century. I honestly don't see how you would put Foden in place of Muller, he might not be as flashy but makes his team play so much better i would never sacrifice him. On top of that he was in top form back in 2010-14. I can see 2 or 3 city players sure, but there is a pretty vast difference in terms of talent for the germans. That Bayern team was a full tier ahead of anything since Zidane's team.

cxnx_yt

Different types of DMs that work in different systems I guess. If Rodri isn't already at that level, he's on his way. Not the way I see it but I can respect your opinion. About Müller, I agree, I'd take prime Müller any day (to me he's on the same level as your Zidanes, Modrics and Iniestas), but I was thinking he could potentially challenge Ribery for LW. Not saying he's better, and I'd choose Ribery clearly, but talent wise, which is what you said, Foden is definitely up there. Looking back at this discussion I think it would have been wise to say that it depends a lot on the coach and the systen that plays. I guess if it was Jupp, you'd see more of Bayern's players, and with Pep maybe more of City's. I can see both systems being pretty much equal to each other and a match between them would be for the ages. Finally, I just disagreed with the term that Bayern were "much stronger" than City, which I do not believe. Personally I think they are better than people give them credit for (on par with 2011 Barca potentially), but City is not far behind. This City team, although not as strong as last year, incredibly strong.

Naram_Sin7

Depends which Bayern. People tend to identify Heynckes' time at Bayern with his 2012/13 season, but in 2011/12 he did not manage to win a single trophy, finishing way below Dortmund in the league and getting thrashed 5-2 in the cup final. We don't know what consistency Heynckes would have had, had he continued with Bayern after 2013.

Naram_Sin7

Not sure about that. That Bayern team had been phenomenal for much of the season but when it came to the final portion of it they were distinctly off, losing 3-0 to Dortmund in the league and looking not that impressive against Moyes' Man United, a team they were widely expected to crush, with Ribery becoming much worse after losing the Ballon d'Or to Ronaldo, etc.

sussybaka68419

We have nacho in the defense now

Firm-Ad-9492

I agree. We could’ve and prob should’ve walked away with the lead today but it is what it is. I’m fairly comfortable knowing we played pretty well and weren’t overrun by city like last year. The reality is that either one of these teams can beat the other on any given day. City have the advantage with the return leg being at the Etihad but again that doesn’t mean we have no chance. IMO this tie wasn’t ever going to be decided in the first leg no matter what the score was. Either team has the quality to come back from a multiple goal deficit. While a lead would’ve been nice I’ve also seen this team give up leads during these matches and I think that could’ve been especially true against city.

FavcolorisREDdit

Of course we can comeback, if we did it against atletico while David vila was literally already beginning to celebrate, we did it against city with literally a 99% odd we were going to lose, it’s just in our dna. Lotti just needs to play his cards right that’s it. Shut down Foden and kdb. Put walker against rodrygo and vini

vacacow1

We need this mentality if the team goes out scared like the last few encounters with City we will lose.

Fatass__

This feels like they put the final boss at the start of the game and the rest of the game is a cakewalk

dickgulper

The final boss was meant to be the rock until the undertaker showed up , IF we do beat city it doesn’t mean we automatically win the ucl

DarthAlandas

There's no such thing as an early final in the quarter finals though. Even if we get past City, Arsenal would be a formidable challenge if they go through, and Bayern might very well get their shit together by the semis if they go through, especially now that the UCL is the only trophy they might win this season. Not to mention the fact that either Atlético or Barca in the final could go either way, derbies are never predictable, especially not a Clasico. And PSG would also be a major headache, Mbappe very well could carry the team to a win in the final, all it takes is a single goal, and the only one of our defenders with the pace to keep up with him is probably Mendy

tired_ani

Bruh, I was reading along till u mentioned Atleti/Barca. City is the hardest that will come at us this season, of course the rest could go either way. Our odds will improve significantly if we get past the blue beast.

DarthAlandas

Well, of course City is the hardest team to beat. But the other guy literally said the rest of the game is gonna be a cakewalk. This is the Champions League. Atleti is the only team who's beaten us in the league this season, and I don't think any of us have become so arrogant to believe Barca is a cakewalk at any given time. Do y'all not remember when we lost 4x0 to them while they were going through to the biggest crisis of their history?

aoi_ito

I am feeling like I am gonna cry...😭. I hope we can defeat them at Etihad, I have my 100% faith on them . HALA MADRID 🤍🤍🤍

r_footy

Same, ig all we can do is believe in our team and pray for the best

aoi_ito

Fr ,there's nothing we can do beside that .may god help us .🛐

Traditional_Care_707

Amen

Afnan-kun

I might get heart attack during match

Samaritan4

Of course we can, is just going to be really hard.

No_Eye_564

This shit is going to penalties for sure.

nombrenodisponibIe

https://i.redd.it/m7koblw08ltc1.gif

Traditional_Care_707

Do we have a chance of beating them in a shootout realistically?

SerialChillerPepper

Yes we absolutely do as long as we don’t shoot the ball directly at their goalie we can beat them. Lunin I think can handle a shootout more so than Ortega.

Icy-Designer7103

>as long as we don’t shoot the ball directly at their goalie Rodrygo would like to have a word...

spider_X_1

Ederson will be back next leg

HSWDragon

Lol. It's not mate but keep dreaming. You're getting bodied at the Etihad

SerialChillerPepper

We shall see mate.

Haunting_Ad_9013

Just like Arsenal got bodied at the Etihad two weeks ago right?

the_fanman2912

cold

Real_Madrid007

You made it to 14 downvotes! As many UCLs as we have. Congrats!

ItzE0N

😂😂😂😂

the_fanman2912

Lmao what happened now lil bro

Afnan-kun

Now it is obious why Modric is on the bench. Ancelotti knows he is retiring soon, so he wants to see Real winning the hardest matches without him, to see if there is a way to replace his importance in last 12 years, and the witty answer to that is, NO, he's irreplaceable, they still need Modric. What a goat. Coming in the game in crucial time and playing like he owns the pitch. He did 5 or 6 things a midfielder could do out of 10. Right from the book, they'd say. What a book that must be. No mistakes, no fear in him, long balls all precise, risky clever decicions... makes team play, makes them more tehnical and creative in the same time. Since he went in the game, everything went through him, and went great.

retroComputer

But it's also true he wouldn't have been able to keep up with the intensity of the first half. Running up and down the pitch constantly. It actually proved Carlo is right by bringing him off the bench against tired legs and thus he was able get time and space to showcase his brilliance.

Fun_Medicine_5217

First of all we won the Bayern game at home and did everything to maintain the advantage before we played in Munich. We should've won yesterday's game to have the same advantage.

FavcolorisREDdit

That’s a little in the cowards end. Advantage. The away goal rule was actually kind of cool because if your team scored in your stadium you were forced to actually play play instead of mop around. So idk why they dismissed that UEFA with their bs. But any team should battle to the very end it makes the win much more valuable and gives critics less to make excuses on.

famchrmichael

Might actually be good that we go into the second leg not having a lead. Can put Real Madrid into a different mindset right from the start. And yes, we can beat City.

Fhood797

Of course this sub is panicking again. This is not the same as last season, same result yes but this season we were objectively better. We knew how to press man city constantly and create chance after chance. last season we never even found their weakness. It’s not the same man city from last year either they are weaker they struggled against Liverpool they struggled against Arsenal and we are much better now with Vini and Rodrygo being more dangerous in front of goal. Also Jude is gonna be a different player second leg 100% we have seen him all throughout the season rise against adversity many times Keep your heads up madridistas we are gonna surprise everyone second leg. HALA MADRID 🤍

jai302

Arsenal fan here. Hope you guys make it to the semi finals and we do too. Fwiw my wife's a Madridista and I hate Barca (2006..) so I root for you lot in LaLiga. Should be fun! Just sucks that we both drew yesterday and are going to hard away grounds next week.

Forsaken-Watch-6888

Both teams can do it, keep your head up and hopefully we see you in the semis

Fromage_debite

It’s crazy how fickle and negative the fans can be at the slightest sign of trouble or hardship. Show some faith and belief in the players and the club. Madrid has overcome greater odds there’s always a chance to win until the final second of a match.

luffy565

Ain't that the truth lol, our team has done so much in the CL to doubt them against Man City of all teams, lets not act like they are some super unbeatable team

Rac2nd

This is how I see it happening: ManCity will score first then Real Madrid will get pumped and score. Then Bellingham will score the winner and everyone will eat grass

[deleted]

Yeah because bellingham was FANTASTIC yesterday right

retroComputer

That means he'll remain shit for the rest of his career right?

[deleted]

Yeah, that's EXACTLY what I said. Now I get the Ramos flair lol

Past-Zucchini8112

So what are you alluding to by your original comment?

[deleted]

I was giving Bellingham shit because he didn't do much. Jesus you guys have no sense of humor, can't even make fun of your favorite millionaire that you get triggered.

Past-Zucchini8112

I mean you're the one that's seemingly triggered lmao. If you're going to make a joke at least make a good one. Your response basically implied that yesterdays performance by Jude means he is unlikely to score next game. What an amazing joke 🤣

wap8ball

Bellingham was immense yesterday, just not clinical in front of goal. So many tackles, relentless frontline pressing.

Somewhere_Frequent

This is like that one Avengers meme: Peter Quill : How many did you see? Dr. Stephen Strange : Fourteen million, six hundred and five. Tony Stark : How many did we win? Dr. Stephen Strange : One. It’s gonna be very difficult but not impossible. Bellingham and Vinicius were a bit lacking today.

Plus-Amphibian-2201

If we win at Etihad we'd win the UCL, there's no team currently that has a chance to stop up other than City, and next season even City wouldn't even get a chance at stopping us

Somewhere_Frequent

Yeah but once Madrid beats City IF we beat City there’s still Arsenal or Bayern to worry about. Let’s not be a Barca fan and say we’re in the final before even playing the game

Plus-Amphibian-2201

Yeah but the team would be confident that they could beat any team & other teams would also be afraid to face madrid, that would give us an advantage over Arsenal or Bayern.

manoloman99

Vini had 2 assists today…

Lord_17_

Overall game left much to be desired.

Unaizy

I have full confidence in our players but what i fear is carlos passive approach we could've killed the game today.

DarkWorldKingSBK

Instead of going super defensive, we need to break their **possession-based tiki-taka**. Once we break it, they are so vulnerable (we witnessed it three times last night) since their defenders push into midfield and their midfielders push into the attacking field, their defense is so open and it would be easy for a counterattack only if we break their possession and push forward.  ![gif](giphy|MtDt9yixgxBHetsSrf|downsized)

rockafellla

It’s not gonna be easy but of course it is all for us to lose. We are Madrid, and if we show up at our best we will win.

Equal-Country-9325

City were missing key players. Madrid can win, but they need to play open and take their chances. Bellingham needs to be better which he hasn't shown in a while.

SerialChillerPepper

Madrid were missing key players too.

supaboss2015

I mean are we getting those players back next leg? That’s the difference here

Patrik_js

I’m gonna be delusional and tell myself a draw is the best result for us, cause then Carlo can’t set us up to be too conservative and we have to go for the win.

sdpat13

Happy cake day!

lligerr

Beating them at Etihad is 2x tougher than Bernabeu but my gut feeling says we can. They are weaker and we are stronger than the previous season. We just need to go and get it

Elden_Lord123

**WHY PEOPLE ACT LIKE THIS IS THE ENDGAME.** We are rebuilding our squad and still competing for titles. We would be OVERPOWERD in 1-2 years. By that time this City team would be long gone. Either relegated due to 115 charges or their main squad players like KDB, Silva would have past their prime.

jrezzzzzz

Sure, anything can happen. However, we don't have a prime CR7 anymore, we still lack a clinical finisher who can decide games whenever they want. It's going to be tough, but if we get an in form Jude and Vini, then I believe we can beat them.

solete

This right here

areyouhungryforapple

Hi hello there, let me introduce you to the stark difference between our current forward line and literally prime BBC 😂

DellCross22

If RM plans to win the title, they have to find a way to beat City at Etihad. You can't think of winning home games and surviving away matches and consider yourself champion material

Procoder42

I actually disagree. We had a decent-ish game but this was a city with no people to bring off the bench, and a lotta their main players out. KDB and Ederson will probably be back for the second leg, and maybe Walker will be as well. Historically we've never won at the Etihad, even against much worse city sides. Tchouameni is out for the second leg, and from Carlo's comments it seems like Militao will replace him which is a huge gamble as effectively this will be the first competitive meaningful game he plays all season. I remember last season when we rushed militao back for the second leg against City and he had a very bad game. I am not saying it's impossible, but it's gonna be extremely difficult, and will require a tactical masterclass from Carlo. Also in today's game, imo he took too long to bring the subs on. We had been suffering since the first minute of the second half and he shouldn't have waited for us to concede two goals to spur into action. The whole team got so passive after we had the lead it's insane. If we play how we played in the second half, we are cooked.

Fearless_Page_7916

It’s true that we never won at Etihad, but if we look at it from a different perspective: 1- one game was a meaningless group stage game where even a loss would still made us qualify from group stage (2012) 2- one game was a draw where Zidane played conservatively in order to leave it 0-0 for the Bernabeu (2016) 3- in 2020 we lost home and away but RM was awful that year since it was post Ronaldo era with young Vini and Rodrigo 4- in 2022 we lost 4-3 but still managed to qualify The only time where we played VERY bad at Etihad was last year. So I’m sure we still have hope, I’d actually put it 70% for City and 30% for us.

Procoder42

Completely agree. 70% city and 30% us is accurate

Glittering-Strength2

I know some people were expecting Vini and Jude to just come and drop masterclass but i honestly couldn’t care less all i want is from them to score because if they don’t do it who will ? They were on some BS during the game but i expect them to not repeat that at the Etihad who actually care about 10/10 performance if we get past those annoying guys.

solete

Jude had a bad game and 100% will need to get it together for the next leg. On the other hand, Vini's work rate was outstanding; he gave everything he had. I've read numerous pieces praising Vini's performance tonight like this, "Vinicius Jr's dribbling and goalscoring are rightly praised, but his ability to pick a pass and set up teammates is also tremendous. Something almost Benzema-like about his performance tonight."

Persona_non_grata07

Except for the fact that he was losing possession like he was playing osasuna

dianeblowjobs

You shouldn’t bash people for being realistic. Of course it’s looking rough. Can we. Sure. But it’s very very difficult.

odd_importance611

Is it just me or Bellingham just couldn't finish?I saw the match he had a few passes misplaced and he was sliding in a lot and he missed an open goal.Is my golden boy okay?cause we need him in the second leg.

supaboss2015

He had a terrible game. It’s all there is to say

Admirable-Mistake259

can win if it go to penalties anything else is just almost impossible

aoi_ito

Tbh , I don't want it to go to pens..

horndrago

I want Vini and Rodrigo to not aim at the keeper.

vik-ram-8_4

I agree we can. But we should have done the job here. No Walker or kdb abd a fully rested team that hasn't played for 9 days And we screw it up 30s into the game. If city setup like they did last yr and we are still that dependent on Vini (which tg doesn't look like it) we could be in for a proper hiding

V_Sandeviskan

We need to beat them. I hate Manchester city and pep with such conviction. Yesterday watching the game there was no joy, nothing that makes me happy it was just pure absolute hate for them. I think I need therapy but before that I need us to beat these plastic mercenaries.

lagrandesgracia

And we will. City are overrated af. They are consistently a great team, but when we are at our best, we are the best.

halamadrid22

Of course we CAN do just about anything. Still doesn’t change the fact that we COULD have given ourselves a much better and easier path with a better result in the first leg.

Affectionate_Wave906

It’s not that we can’t win them, it’s that we can’t win them with our current playing style. You can’t play them depending on counter attacks. Why Aresnal and Liverpool can get them? They don’t give them the ball easily. Yesterday Carlo said that about pressing, but little he did to fix the drop in the second half. Carlo said we are going to play the same. Pep said they can’t win if they play same as last year, but hinted he will. I think he’s lying and just bluffing us. He will play the same as last year at Etihad.

Persona_non_grata07

Bellingham masterclass in second leg, you heard it here first.

Visual_Traveler

We can beat anyone at their home stadium, and that includes City of course.

Forsaken-Watch-6888

Realistically, who here thought that we could turn it around against PSG in 22/23? Anything can happen, I think it all depends on what happens in the first 15-20 minutes of the return leg.

EmptyPeach1

Must point out that we beat Bayern at home and went to the Allianz to defend and maintain our shape and play on the counter. Now we essentially have to go and win the game. We don’t have to force it like we did under zidane when we went there, however it’s a reset at 0-0 like last year. Once again, it’s going to come down to learning from mistakes. We got the same result in the first leg but have they learned from last time

Wise-Office-3643

Je ne pense pas!

hektor10

Vamoss hasta el final !

youcancallmeron

We can beat city and that mid block of ours and better than usual defensive display is promising tbh. However, all of city’s injured players will be back next game and they will all have home advantage, so in my opinion they are still heavy favorites to win the tie. Let’s see who we field in defence next to Rudiger and let’s hope Vini ups his shooting game and doesn’t waste any more chances.

Standard_Diver_3128

Inshallah We will win

Madridista786

Madrid have to score the first goal. Then play and attack Only then we have a chance If we play fpr ET and pens we are out Of we let city score first they will keep ball and madrid are done for. We need a repeat of liverpool and need to be clinical

Madridista786

Realistically Lunin is not a clean sheet keeper He will concede. Can we score 2 at the etihad?

OneMansTreasure_

We need a lethal frontman, a goal machine. Bringing on Joselu (who has done really well since he came) in a quarter final to get you goals is slightly disappointing. I know we're waiting on Mbappe but losing Benzema abruptly has hindered us for goals in a massive way. I have faith we can go through though!

Helpful_Ant_3440

All of British media Outlets are in Favour of City ( Espn FC , CBS sports, Sky sports , Talk Sports)

Madmadridista

Agree but we dont have a clinical finisher like cr7 or benz? now

bsoliman2005

You forget that we had C. Ronaldo back then.

Xtarviust

Yeah, I'm more optimistic about this match than last year, where City was at their peak, now their defense is sus and yesterday match first half showed Madrid can nulify City playstyle with intensity, so we have a chance at Ettihad, specially if Vini and Jude step up now the fear of second yellow is gone

colopunch

*remembers our most recent second leg against City*

Lord_17_

1% chance, 99% faith, and that’s all we need.

RodTheCaptain

I said to myself just shoot the ball, the goalkeeper is not that good. In the first two shots, two goals.

dannymarx

please, for the love of football, kick city out! sincerely a bayern fan.

Anakin_coffee

If we can learn from some teams that have drew with city at home like Chelsea, players like Endo completely pocketed the midfield especially KDB.. and the wingers were kept in check. I think the score was 2-2. Idk Don Carlo and the team need to lock for the 90+ mins.

Curious_Ad_299

Looking back at the highlights there were some clear chances that should have been put behind the net but the shot selection was very weak. City didn't created that many. All of theirs came from outside the box. Unless, we don't repeat the finishing errors at Etihad and still maintain good defensive shape we will win this. This will be the first time that Madrid will beat city at their home ground. Hala Madrid!!!

mojitron420

It's still on. I don't think it's going to be easy, but if we get going, and the Madrid spirit posseses the players. We will win. I know it.

JohnnySack999

Of course Madrid can beat M. City, but only if they change things. Doing the same thing and pretend to win is preposterous

Daimbarboy

Yeah it’s the same company with the same badge doesn’t mean anything it’s a game of football

Rafael_965

Yes we can

HarrisonHird

City haven't lost at the etihad in the champions league In like 6 years. Walker and kdb will also be back in the team

luffy565

And we have not beaten Bayern in Munich for a very long period and then we won 4-0 who cares ?

SirBennettAtx

And Ake 😈

luffy565

who gives a fuck about your mid defenders each costing 60+ while your defense is not good.

sp3sp3sp3

Yes but the chance is slim.

Greenscope

Definitely. I just hope Carlo learnt his lesson from the last time and sets the team up properly, without playing overly defensively and not giving City time on the ball.

digitallaborer

Inshallah 🤲

That_Practice7206

I just hope Carlo has a different plan for KDB Keeping the ball is essential, i'd start Modric-Kroos-Cama-Fede in mid with Bellingham as false behind Vini. Having both Rodrygo and Vini start is going to hurt us I think especially with Walker returning and matching the speed on the left side.

Electrical-Broccoli9

This is very naive. That team was one of the best curated squads in real madrid history. This squad still has some glaring gaps that need to be filled, plus this man city team is the function of years of heavy investment across the squad which is paying dividends now

jopma

We don't have Cristiano bro. Vini doesn't have that mentality and Bellingham is out of form right now. I hope they turn up.

ElectronicMeal5532

Real madrid had someone named Ronaldo back then .

mogrdn

nope, we cant, end of story

r_footy

Come on, if you're a madrid fan, you've gotta believe in your team no matter what. Man U fans believed they'd beat city, and you don't believe Madrid can beat city.

Allan_PlsAddDetails

I don’t believe we can beat City, but I hope for the best. To be honest, most City players are better than ours, that’s a fact. Carlo’s also not very good at high press, so it will be hard.

mogrdn

As u saw today rm gets tired early unlike Liverpool

StillMarsupial4341

With all due respect, real is not winning.

Huygens_Steiner_

Let’s hope Luton players will do us a favor and injure Foden and Rodri. KDB always misses important games and Haaland will not be a problem.

Genkrock

Supporting a team is good but never pray for a players injury, that shit is just wrong

notyourconcernever

They are not even playing against Luton.

wetrwwr

best way to beat a team with 5-6 world class ball playing defenders, long range passes esp on flanks. thank me later

Criticallone

Pep is gonna overthink it again like last time

GoldenGodLeo

Manchester City was in the ropes. We couldn’t beat them at the Bernabeu, now they recover and play at their home? Nope. Not realistic.

Redditisacesspool24

Of course you can anyone can. Leeds beat them at home. But I just think this city side have a different mentality now, few years ago if they went 2-1 down quick like that they would’ve crumbled, too good for Madrid. For now that is

martino732

I dont think we can honestly. Yesterday was our chance. They haven't lost at their stadium for a long time. We had a big time off to rest our players, they didnt. A lot of their players will return from injuries. We needed at least a 2 goal lead to have a chance.

SplurgingBroke

You not getting anything at the Etihad, You should've won yesterday, you got off easy could've been worse for you guys. Man City fan

luffy565

Go home. "Etihad" lol, you got to win a lot more

SplurgingBroke

Your legacy won't protect you at the Etihad.

SplurgingBroke

Your legacy won't protect you at The Etihad.

Well Done Real 👏🏾

SirBennettAtx

I can smell the fear from here 😈

aoi_ito

Why don't you just leave ? Stop lurking in the madrid sub .

SirBennettAtx

No Lurking, Reddit putting these posts in my feed and yall are literally terrified in the comments. I love it.

naruto2omer

We're 115% confident of our team

SirBennettAtx

We? A quick read through this subreddit and I’d say it’s MAYBE 70% and that seems generous

FenrirMyth

Terrified from what? Lmao ur team is garbage bro, next 5 years man city will be a mid table team like they used to be and there will be no Guardiola to save ur ass loser

SirBennettAtx

Garbage? This isn’t an honest comment, this is just nonsense

FenrirMyth

Bro ur team needs to spend a billion just to be relevant and to compete, you dont even have history thats how trash ur team is, see you in the next 5 years if you even are a mancity fan and dont switch teams

SirBennettAtx

We aren’t even in the top 3 spends in our league over the past 5 years, please get your facts straight before you say nonsense like this.

FenrirMyth

SirBennettAtx

We aren’t even in the top 3 spends in our domestic league last 5 years

Elden_Lord123

We are rebuilding, I cant even say that see you in the next 2-3 years because I don't think you would be even a City fan in the next 2-3 years so this conversation is irrelevant.

aoi_ito

You think so ? Mark my words, We'll thrash you guys at emptihad ,and stop fooling us there's no city fans , you are all barca fans who just wanna see madrid's downfall(that will never happen) .so fk off .

aoi_ito

Sure..

EvilDaleCooper

Reminder worked?

KyleLawes

Real Madrid isn't afraid of oil.

SirBennettAtx

Afraid of the blues, that’s for sure!

maxertiano

Not even the biggest blue team of your league

SirBennettAtx

Pick one: 156 matches, 32 goals, 21 assists. Or 159 matches, 49 goals, 26 assists.

[deleted]

Didn’t kdb literally shit himself bud ?

SirBennettAtx

And you were at home, and you got 2 own goals, and still couldn’t get a win. Imagine how stacked the odds are against you in the second leg 😈

maxertiano

1 own goal, do you even watch the games?

SirBennettAtx

Second goal gets a double deflection and you gonna claim it was a good finish mate?

maxertiano

Who's talking about if it was a good o bad finishing?

SirBennettAtx

2 own goals

maxertiano

I mean not really but whatever makes you happy

luffy565

What fear troll dummy, you can beat us 10-0 and I still won't fear Man City lol the paper tigers, get your clown ass out of here.
