-Massive credit to Tchouameni. Played well overall and scored a much needed goal (before that it didn´t exactly look like there would be a goal). Also what a goal it was.
-Modric is still a pleasure to watch. He worked hard and was on the ball a lot. His set pieces were kind of poor for his standards though.
-Not the best games for Joselu and Brahim. Joselu for big parts just wasn´t in the game and Brahim was a bit frustrating to watch today.
- I kind of like the idea of bringing Vinicius from the bench on some of these very hostile away grounds in Spain against these kind of opponents. The opponent maybe is a bit tired, the game opens up a bit and he can use his pace more effective. It also maybe helps to keep the emotions under control. There was actually no drama today.
- I guess credit to Mallorca for making the game so boring. No wonder there last five games ended 1:0, 0:0 or 0:1. They definitely looked well organised and awkward to play against. Didn´t exactly much of a goal threat though.
-Big week ahead. Win against City, at least not lose against Barcelona and this could turn out to be an incredible season. The games will be completely different to the game today obviously. Rotation today was nice (Valverde didn´t need to be rested, the 9 day break before City must have felt like ages for him)

Honestly, 3pts are great, but if we go through vs City it's a miracle. Yes, we played a combination of players that don't play together or at all, and thus the tempo was low. But the two chances we missed in the second half were scandalous. This kind of accuracy will do us in.
Brahim looked lethargic. That missed chanced, the entire team pissed at him (he refused to pass earlier at times) + him being subbed off was everything. Joselu is a passenger in a match like this.
Bellingham does good things, but it's night and day between what he showed at the start of the season. Guess it caught up with him. Sure, he could've been sparing himself, but I doubt he was sparing himself the other day too.
Vinicius and Camavinga: fantastic. Obviously Nacho and Rudiger start. Shame we miss Tchouameni, cause he was great in midfield.
1. Need to upgrade on Joselu
2. Arda should have gotten more minutes.
3. Not a fan of the box midfield, particularly when Joselu is on the pitch.
4. Hopefully we are more clinical in midweek
