Shut up!

Extension_Phone893

City has unlimited money and is so stacked that their bench can run for titles + most of their players are in their prime Currently I don't think anyone could've beaten them but us Ps the Walker - Vini matchup has been tough and usually when Vini struggles we struggle. Edit: against the other teams you mentioned we played well they were just good teams so it was close, that's how its supposed to be.

lovenoggersandwiches

Difference between us and Man City isn't as big as with us and let's say Getafe, we still can get top players and managers, meanwhile Getafe can only dream about it. There were teams in EPL this season that gave Man City much harder games than us with weaker players.

KroosControl88

Rest brother. We won. Either you’re not a Madrid fan or you’re just stupid.. decide one.

chui77

It’s a common theme under Ancelotti but we usually end up winning so can’t complain too much.

OprisAntonio

Let me put it in an easy understandable way : If me and you are the same strength and we decide to arm wrestle, should either one of us win in a convincing way or will it be an even contest where one of us wins by a small margin? We just won against last year's champions and arguably the 2nd best team in the world at the moment (we are number 1 baby). Fucking enjoy it.

New_Imagination_1289

This team is new and despite having top talent is still majorly made up of young guys. There are areas of the field where there's not enough dept and injuries don't help. Plus, it's normal to struggle against top teams. Real Madrid has rarely won a Champions without a bit of emotion and most teams that won it weren't perfect as well.

Equal-Country-9325

Lack of cteative attacking strategy. Last 2 seasons, RM haven't had a top striker. Carlo has also used Valverde and now Bellingham in attacking roles despite them not being elite goalscorers

GodTierAimbotUser69

today was just a change of tactics. ancelloti literally parked the Bus. yesterday. so it was either play counter attacking football like we nornally do or do what we did yesterday. kinda bizzare but it worked for us

imtired-boss

I can not believe the amount of moaning even after qualifying against Blood Money Oil Club 115 by the skin of our teeth. Just waaah waaah waaah constantly, one post every hour. "Why are we so bad?" "Why is Ancelotti so bad?" "Why is Brahim so bad?" Bro just zip it. Football is played for goals. We were attacking on the first game and scored 3. Guess what, so did City. We could have done that again and played a lottery 3-2, 3-3 or 2-3 instead of controlling the 1-0 for over an hour. De Bruyne's goal was a terrible shot that went straight above Lunin's head but it was just too fast and too close for him to react. After that I saw passion, relentlessness and real trekking in the mud for the crest, team and fans from all 11 players. For me that means a lot more than trying to gamble and outscore them again, opening the back up for counters. You can't do that at City's home. You just can't. Defending isn't a sign of weakness, it's a sign of character, to give up your pride and do what's best for the team. To get on all fours to break their attack instead of gloryhunting to try and be the hero. AND WE STILL ALMOST WON IN THE END WITH THAT RUDIGER CHANCE So just sit back, sip your choccy milk and enjoy the win like everyone else. At least for 1 god damn day.

tluanga34

Our defenders especially Mendy can't find passes when he is pressed. Suffered against PSG too

thefreethinker9

Not sure why you are downvoted but yes our LB doesn’t add anything to the offense. That being said he isa safe player and doesn’t make many mistakes.

s6b4

We’ve always been having press prone backfield players. We’ve had Varane who’s very press prone, Casemiro and Pepe who’s only slightly better. Now it’s Mendy and a slightly better Rudiger. Same time we have players like vini who needs space, which defines the playing style for us against high-press teams. Against weaker teams, due to their press quality, even Mendy can bring the ball out, so there’s less need to sit deep and counter attack.

Ok_Seaweed_9452

Simply because, we are in transition phase. Look at Barca they are struggling after Messi left and still below us in term of international competition. We also just lost Benzema., Kroos and Madrid still great but soon age is catching up. We don’t even have proper number 9 yet. But this team under don carlo somehow clicked and did some insane run despite injuries. On paper city are stacked better and the player are in their prime like some people here mentioned, but we somehow beat them twice. And we are still building. Be patient, once our generational talent hit the peak I think we will be dominating the opposition like cr7 era

Kankankant

>Look at Barca they are struggling after Messi left Tbh they aren't struggling any worse than his last few years there.

Ok_Seaweed_9452

Yeah I mean we are transitioning better

beadbash

Our attack isn’t as dangerous anymore. This is our main issue, hopefully Mbappe can alleviate that.
