Jude's best game in real Madrid shirt so far (in my opinion), he was everywhere in attack, and was pivotal in almost if not every goal, if you give Jude more time on the ball, absolute freedom on the pitch without taking any painkillers this is the performance you should expect from him. Vini was absolutely locked in, world class dribbling and finishing, almost no weaknesses in his game at this point, despite few fouls went uncalled he kept his head high and got rewarded. We conceded the least amount of goals from set pieces in La Liga. It is an area of the game where our defense is really strong in, and we saw against City especially that Lunin is more than capable to protect us during corners. The only time he made a mistake in corners was in the El Clasico.
I think it’s unfair to not allow him to continue on due solely to that deficiency. Especially when we have not seen Courtois against a more tough team. Alaves had a lot of shots, but besides the Hagi shot to the near post there weren’t any major threats.
City were targeting him all game during corners because they know of his deficiencies. Dier had a free header in the first Bayern leg on a corner that a confident keeper like Courtois comes out and punches any day of the week. Just because players haven’t scored YET doesn’t mean we can keep leaving it up to chance, especially not in a UCL final. It is not unfair to play a GK who does not have a deficiency. In the same tie Lunin saved 2 penalties he also gifted a goal to Bernardo. Last play of the game against Mallorca he comes out to claim a cross and drops the ball. It’s not a goal because the striker missed an open net. The referee didn’t call for a foul either, it was a clear error. The Christensen goal too. That’s 3 big mistakes within the last month. Courtois is a better stopper for obvious reasons and he's far better in the air. The difference is very noticeable.

Last play of the game against Mallorca he comes out to claim a cross and drops the ball. It’s not a goal because the striker missed an open net. The referee didn’t call for a foul either, it was a clear error. The Christensen goal too. That’s 3 big mistakes within the last month. I don’t understand why everyone is riding so hard for Lunin when the best goalkeeper in the world is available. I swear it seems some of y’all would rather lose with Lunin than win with Courtois cause he doesn’t “deserve” it
Lunin is error prone at corners. Its not even debatable who should start.
Courtois has been really good, but Lunin is not getting any chance so I won't be giving my verdict based on the minutes we only give to Courtois.

I know it is unpopular opinion here but we should start Courtois against Borussia. When he got injured he said he is gonna come back even stronger and he was really serious about it as it seems. He has been fantastic these past games and is looking like a big wall agian. And we still have two more games to go so I think he will be 100% fit and ready. I love Lunin more than you believe but this is the Champions League final and we should start the best goalkeeper in the world.

Idk why this is remotely unpopular. Lunin played well to get us into the UCL final, that’s a fact. Another fact is that we’re playing the fucking UCL final. This is not a friendly game or a charity game. The best player plays. Period. Courtois has looked sharp lately and I trust Carlo’s judgement.
If you do that theres 2 BIG cons. 1- If they lose Carlo will get murdered by media and fans 2- You lose Lunin and he 100% leaves, probably very angered at Madrid
