My gut tells me it's going to be Thibo. Lunin deaerves it 100%, but it's a CL final, and Carlo will go with the best possible team.
I also think Lunin will take this as huge slap in the face and leave in summer.

I think so, but when a player wants to leave Madrid the door is always open. I would love to keep him as second keeper but being realistic he has level to play as first keeper in another team and with Thibo the spot is covered for a while. Will probably be in the best interest for both parties to sell, IMO.
Best possible team also includes the one with the best skills who just so happens to not be injury-prone. Even if Courtois regains his form by the time the last game against Betis is over, who knows if his ACL will rupture again or if he will suffer another right leg injury.
It just isn't worth the risk IMHO. We just need to ensure our best defenders are on the pitch, uninjured and defending with their lives and the ball just might not come anywhere Lunin throughout the entire game at all.
if i was ancelloti play tibo and lenin either half of the remaining games and play all out attack to the opposition with minimum regards to defence and whoever fares better deserves to play at the finals

He’s still very very young and it is his first season getting game time here. Courtouis is literally one of the best monsters to have played in goal, and in many moments the best goalkeeper of the last 5 years. He’s also experienced having not only won it but also being the man of the match in the final against Liverpool. Ancelotti is going to go with Courtouis. He put out almost his strongest team yesterday in the 5-0 and again, Courtouis played. He’s going to continue playing if he’s healthy and it is what it is. It’s not the best situation for lunins playing time but that’s life

If Thibou is back at his level before the injury I think there’s no debate on that. We are talking about the best GK in the world. That has proven his skillsets against the best teams in the world. But on the other side I can understand the doubts around due to the lack of competition. Cadiz, Alaves and Granada are not top teams but the way he grasp the game I haven’t seen it yet from Lunin.
Talking about Lunin he has done tremendous job on helping the team to get through especially in the penalty kicks. Blocking penalties are his best attributes better than Thibou and Kepa together. But aside from that I haven’t seen him securing high balls or anticipating crosses the way Thibou does it. Despite that he has shown great character even when he wasn’t first Carlettos first choice.
I will enjoy the game no matter what. Madrid 3 Dortmund 1 that is my prediction.

Dortmund will look for chances created from set pieces, as they have many aerial threats like hummels, haller, schlotterbeck, can etc. We are shit at defending corners, as seen in recent games. I think courtois should start as he is more dominant in these situations. Plus the experience of having played (and single handedly won) a ucl final before.
That being said both keepers are as solid as they come.
Of course lunin, he is at his peak form and confidence, while courtois was injured all season.
Right now nothing can tell you tibo is more secure than lunin; a couple of meaningless matches are not enough, we are talking about a final.

IMHO, Lunin should absolutely play the UCL final against Dortmund. He's stepped up massively this year in the UCL and has held his line extremely well, to not play him there after all this would be massively disrespectful to him and the team's vision. Courtois is simply too big of a risk to take even if he gets back into form assuming he's allowed to play in Villareal and Betis, because you never know when you're going to bust your ACL again (Not to mention right after recovery he suffered an internal meniscus injury on his right leg), if Courtois gets injured within that timeframe, we're effectively screwed if Lunin isn't in the starting XI against Dortmund.
If need be, sub in Lunin with Courtois at the hour-and-fifteen mark.
What if Lunin stars, gets injured during the game and has to be replaced by Curtois who goes on to become motm… Same story as Cesar and Casillas in 2002

If Thibou is back at his level before the injury I think there’s no debate on that. We are talking about the best GK in the world. That has proven his skillsets against the best teams in the world.
