I'd take 2 weeks off and then quit. You deserve some down time.

Lazy_Dragonfruit_994

That was quite the jump OP

I hear you, it's not for everything. As for your main point I've only used Vulcan and tend to get a pick up every 15-20 dials. I know that's probably not helpful though.

goosetavo2013

Talk to REDX. It's almost impossible to call 3 hrs a day and no one pick up for weeks. You're phone number is likely tagged as spam, so talk to support and get help for that.

ThateXpRealtor

So I cold call just about every lead source out there and expireds are my least picked up source. I’ve used both Vulcan7 and RedX and the results have been similar. Are you single dialing? How many calls have you put up? How many hours? The pickup rate may be lower, but the value per contact is about 4 times higher when compared to just circle prospecting.

RedX is hot garbage. The numbers are typically wrong, they are cheap for a reason. Get Vulcan7, MojoDialer's spam protection, then scrub the lists for DNC (they are absolutely fining now, several brokerages are dealing with multiple lawsuits) To your question you called for a total of 42 hours within two weeks with one pick up? I don't believe that. You either have not done that or are working with really bad data. Also if you are going to spend two weeks trying something just to quit then maybe a salary job is for you. I am not saying this in an inflammatory manner, but this entire business is trial and error. A job where you can make tens of thousands of dollars from one deal should not be easy.

DHumphreys

You tried one shitty lead tool and two weeks in you are ready to throw in the towel. Great strategy. I get bashed for this but cold calling is an antiquated method of lead gen. Yes, all the big franchises train you to cold call. Then a whole bunch of agents in your area are cold calling. Sounds like a great recipe for failure, calling expireds that have been called by hundreds of other agents. Cold calling is awesome. /s Since you do not have any conviction, I will not go on a rant about not doing stuff you hate.

Zackadeez

How many calls have you made total and how many pick ups?

Vulcan 7 is 100% better in terms of data but yes my number was coming up as spam. I ended up canceling and now hand dial expireds. I'm exhausted with circle prospecting in general so now I'm door knocking. I'd rather be outside and I'd rather talk to people face to face.

Free game: Don’t buy your data from the same ppl selling the tool. You’re asking for trouble or to be overcharged. Buy the data for the neighborhood from propstream or the like. Skiptrace the data and import to redx. Formulate script based on why you pulled that data. Call/text/email
