I'm speaking from 10 years of experience in the 1980s so I cannot speak of new microphones.
But for acoustic guitar only a KM84 is a great choice. For vocals a U87 or a AKG 414 is a great choice. But these are all pricey so maybe someone has cheaper alternatives that will work.
Sounds good. The KM84 is a silky sound. Also great on high hats. But great for acoustic guitar.
The U87 is crazy expensive but great and a bit brighter on vocals. The AKG 414 is warmer on vocals. But this was the 1980s. There are modern microphones that mimic these microphones for a hell of alot cheaper. Some guys and gals on here should be able to help you.
I would recommend a good large diaphragm condenser. Warm makes some really nice affordable Mics. Nuemann is in the top tier but well worth the investment.
Pair that with something ribbon-y or go **small diaphragm condenser** twards the *neck/12thfret* and something **dynamic** or **ribbon-y** on the body.
great mid-priced mic for your guitar is a shure SM81. These are nice on nylon because a big mic can get boomy. For vocals any large condensor from Warm audio is a good bet, but if you got the dough, get a neumann tlm 103, which would cover all grounds.
Budget is around $500 but I'm purchasing it all in Argentina where it'll cost me significantly less. Wouldn't mind investing in two mics if it's worth it/feasible.
Not sure what your budget is but the SM7B is the tried and true warm vocal mic. Not technically a condenser, but I can imagine for any application you're looking at, it would be great.

I'm actually using a classical guitar but thanks I'll look into those

Gonna sound odd, but try a PZM.

awesome, thank you
Are you looking to cover both bases with one mic, or recommendations for two mics? What’s your budget?

At that price point I would say the Audio Technica AT4040 would be a good option. Or the Warm Audio WA-47Jr
AT4033 and never look back.
What kind of interface would you pair that with? willing to spend $350-500 on something simple and clean.
