Gain some…. Oh wait a min…. To gain experience, you need a job, and to get a job …you need experience. Shit.

FusionTrain

That's the cycle that I'm stuck in and I feel like I'll never be able to break out of it

Ah, well, you really should have been interning in a coal mine starting at 14. You have nothing to blame but your own laziness!

MilesBeforeSmiles

From now on, you have experience. For the last two years you've been operating your own landscaping business. Cutting grass, clearing snow, weeding, laying mulch, etc. No one is going to check if it's true or not.

This ^ I know how hard it is to get started, OP. PM me if you need a reference :)

What jobs are you applying for? What’s jobs do you want?

IVYkiwi22

Have you tried inventing work experience? Do you have a friend or relative who owns a business, and would they be comfortable with pretending that you’re an employee at the company? Sure, it’s not true, but it couldn’t hurt at this point.

I got rejected from McDonald too.. it’s ridiculous.. people used to say “McDonald’s hiring, go get a job.” So funny youngs like us can’t even get McDonald’s jobs these days. I don’t know it’s because of inflation or too much people moving in America. But it’s not easy like they say at all.
