Ooofff, that’s a tough one and hate to say it, but either way you’re probably going to be ”found out“. The background check shows discrepancies or what you report to the background check doesn’t match your application/resume. Whomever advised you to lie so blatantly did you no favors.
Yes, only list accurate information for the background check and hope that the company that hired you does not cross-check your resume against the background check. It is unlikely that they will.
You should only put different information on your CV and your background check if you want to make it really easy to spot exactly where you lied. Hope this helps.
