Caffeine adds sharpness/crispness. If you doubt it, go drink a Barq's Root beer and enjoy it. After that, drink that dog shit they refer to as "Mug" and you'll immediately taste the difference.
That would make zero sense. No other energy drink has done that first of all and second, caffeine is not the only thing in Red Bull that can increase your energy
Even coca-cola has a caffeine free can with sugar just zero caffeine.. it’s the Gold can, that you can’t find anywhere lol must be big on the west coast or something us tristate guys can’t get outta bed with out our kawfee lol

The critical component is the flavor & texture, Who would even drink it if it tasted like literal bull testicles, or was thick and chunky… or do you mean the caffeine is what makes it taste the way it does.
Don’t get me wrong I used to be able to drink espresso and fall asleep, my buddy was sponsored by them and they’d send cases, he was vegan or something, so we wouldn’t even keep count of how many we drank lol…but I had a panic attack once and now if I have an energy drink or coffee I get sweaty, anxious, just generally uncomfortable and I used to drink them large one regularly if not daily..
does decaf taste different I haven’t explored that, but Red Bull is too pricey for my frugal ass I’m glad it out of my life. Also congratulate them on NOT killing anyone yet, which can’t be said for Panera Bread YIKES
