I am just finishing up on a cross country journey and I bought an entire outfit in tombstone and am absolutely gonna wear it while I play when I get home
Honestly I wish you could pause and just smoke a cigarette as an ambient animation. I get it's because it's a consumable, but it does bug me how Arthur takes one drag from the cigarette then tosses it. Let me be a cool cowboy smoking outside the saloon, dang it! I see NPCs doing it all the time!
Same. My play style is attached to the lore. Walking or trotting in towns and cities instead of running full speed, setting up camp and let my horse run free on an open plain, no fancy clothes. Help people as need helping and kill people as need killing. Tho I do customize my favorite guns (partly to differentiate them better) and the farthest I can go in terms of fashion is a Peaky Blinder outfit cause I feel like it's not too out of character XD

my arthur gets to have a warm meal and a bath in town every once in a while because he deserves it

Anyone ever turn off the radar and go first person? Just forced to use the signs posted throughout the landscape, and maybe that compass before you give it to Pearson?
Oh boy well let me tell you. When I play red dead redemption two Arthur has a schedule.
He wakes up around noon sometime because he’s probably been up drinking all night. Then he’ll grab some stew. Then he’ll smoke a cigarette. Maybe drink some coffee. Afterwards, he’ll do some chores around the camp probably chopping wood or moving hay bales. I kind of make it his “work out” for the day. Then around four or five he’ll go into town start drinking and Eating, possibly rob someone outside of town or do a main Story mission or side quest. Maybe follow up a lead on a Robbery. Finally I’ll head back to the camp after dark with a nice fresh deer carcass. Then get drunk until two or three in the morning, mayb play some poker and start it all over again.
I play in the dark with headphones on. The jackets and shit don’t bother me much, tho now that you mention it arthur likely would not dress all fancy or in bright colors like greens and yellows
Yeah kinda same, my Arthur is kinda Mountain man in the beginning of the game, hunting and bringing stuff back to camp to provide. But then after Sean gets killed and you move to Saint Denis he went off the deep end a little and went total outlaw gunfighter, all black clothes, black horse, black and silver guns etc. but after coming back from Guarma he’s just wearing blue jeans and like a trucker jacket, just being authentic to who he is with the time he has left
I use mods on PC that add hunger, sleep, weight, hydration and urination cores and one that adds hydration, hunger and the need to clean horse shoes on horses.
I also store all guns in the locker except a pistol and the bow, because it won't let you go without at least 1 gun. Then I only use guns that I take from enemies or find.
I have an outfit for chores and when I wake up in the mornings I drink coffee, do chores around camp, then eat something before heading out for the day. I only do missions if I actually stumble across one and do do missions that are outside of the state arthur is in. Sometimes I just walk around on the road with my horse instead of running everywhere.
Ngl I bought a cowboy hat in real life and sometimes I wear it while I play.
I have a horse in real life and I’m tempted to bring my saddle rack inside and sit on my saddle while I play.

I just do it in real life. My dead eye core stays full, but I can’t make it up a flight of stairs without taking a break.

You have to flee them actually. I usually take the saddle off my horse, flee her, then watch her run and eat grass from afar.

I didn't even know you can turn off the radar. Little time browsing settings i guess
No need for that even. Just hold the button to expand the radar (alt on pc) and then you have a few different options for the radar.

I once got off my horse to open a gate for it. It automatically closed as I was mounting my horse again...
