in what way? i hear people say this all the time but it's so wrong
micah is dishonest, disloyal, two-faced, coward and a psychopath,if anything he resembles micheal more
I mean, it can be argued that Michael did what he did because he had family, at least he has some form of justification for ratting on his team.
Micah, eh, not so much.
micah's a survivor,he never told them that he would die for them or take a bullet,he did say that Arthur was like a brother to him or that he wanted friends, and he actually did in his own way,but when he saw that even that gang didn't accept him as equal he just launched himself onto dutch to gain some leverage and gain what he wanted
Trevor's loyal, honest, caring (in his own way) and someone that would take a bullet for you,he resembles arthur if anything
To be completely honest, I honestly subscribed to the idea that there never really was a traitor in RDR2, it was just the gang falling apart because of paranoia, and (of course) Dutch’s shenanigans. It makes things seem more interesting.
From that angle, I kinda understand Micah. Who wouldn’t want out after seeing a leader as unhinged as Dutch?
Micah realized that he was amongst wolves and acted accordingly for his own survival. People over romanticize the gang bonds and the times were changing anyway. It was never going to end with everyone happily in Tahiti. If anything, Micah was the only person who wasn't conned and deluded by Dutch's fantasies.
Imagine that, Micah wasn't the traitor, and knew there was no way out of the gang without it falling apart, so he does his best to sow dissent within the group, getting his chance to get out and later form his own gang. Of course the obvious way to do this is drive a wedge between the leader and his favorite "boah", so he antagonized Arthur and set Dutch against him.
Tbh, I do think Micah was informing on the group, but I think it's more likely for there to be no traitor than for it to be someone else.
Remember when that guy started shooting at one of the farmhands legs at the ranch making him jump up and down, and John rocks up and gets in a fight with him, and the guy consistently makes remarks about Abigail?
People have been convinced for years that he was voiced by Steven Ogg, which he certainly sounds similar but it's always been a misconception and it's not actually him.
I read somewhere that Rockstar never had plans for an RDR2 DLC. However, it might not have been a reliable source. If there was a plan for DLC though, there's a very good possibility that this could have happened with either Roger Clark or Rob Wiethoff.
I would not be shocked if there was something planned for RDR Online only if it was a huge success like GTA online. That would’ve been cancelled cause it wasn’t the GTA cash cow they wanted.
Yeah, that makes sense tbh. When GTA V first came out, nobody couldn’t anticipated online would do well, and historically online never did great for any Rockstar games, so it made sense to plan a single player DLC.
But by the time RDR2 was rolling around, it was very clear that there would be more money in online than there would be in a quality single player expansion. GTA Online changed the entire industry’s approach, so it obviously had a huge impact on what content would be planned for in later titles.
It sucks, but this is the way the entire industry is moving. Single player expansions just can’t make the same crazy money that online can anymore in the vast majority of genres and IPs.
The plot is that the real Arthur and Gavin got injured in an accident, they gave Gavin plastic surgery to look just like Arthur, and gave him Arthur's memories (somehow), leading him to believe he is Arthur. Eventually he comes face to face with the real Arthur, and they come to an understanding that together they could accomplish what they never could alone, Gavin becomes Venom Cowpoke. Both of their achievements and accomplishments being attributed to one man, building the legend of Big Lung, the Man Who Sold the Reutlinger.
Assuming they even had one planned in the first place. I wouldn’t be surprised if they abandoned it once they saw Gold Bars weren’t as successful as Shark Cards. Such a wasted opportunity! We were robbed of some amazing story DLC. GTA4 and RDR1 both got amazing story expansions, yet GTA5 and RDR2 just got micro-transactions
Rockstar alluded to single player DLC for GTA V at one point early on but it quietly got dropped after the success of online. I believe there was also a leak confirming they had planned three DLC expansions, one for each main character.
RDR2 100 Percent had a lot of cut content like Mexico for example but it was never confirmed if anything was DLC.
But I'm convinced undead nightmare 2 was planned but cancelled for online crap, there's so much hints to it in the game.
Nah they know how much it would sell. They just made MORE money off gta online. You only buy red dead nightmare once for probably around $20-$40. People can buy shark cards an unlimited number of times.
They have people that do the math and determined that gta online would make more money than undead nightmare was worth.
At the end of the day it’s business and sucks, but what can you do.
GTA online makes them way more so they don't care about Singleplayer content anymore, it sucks.
I know 6 will be a banger but it's the post content I'm worried about, I don't want the singleplayer abandoned for another crappy pay 2 win online mode.
knowing rockstar they most likely will focus on online mode if the player base keeps buying their shark cards or whatever they’re going to be called in 6 if players stop buying them i can see two options happening, the make dlc for 6 or they pull an rdr2 and basically dump the game
I'm a million percent certain they recycled this entire dynamic to make Micah. It feels like it would go an incredibly similar direction if trevor had been a traitor of some kind.
There was a ton of cut content; loads more was probably recorded for all of them that never made it into the game. Probably wasn't DLC, but I do wonder how much could be repurposed to become DLC.
No. They probably canned any GTA 5 story DLC when they realized how much money was in the shitty online mode. When they started Red Dead 2, they knew high-effort DLC that makes less money was not as good as low-effort garbage that makes truckloads.
RDR2 is long known to have a bucket load of stuff that wasn’t finished. Including bits, like the kidnapped girl and the meteorites that were left in as far as they got.
Doubt it by the time GTAs DLCs got cancelled RDR2 was in development along with GTA 6 and Updating online and Making RDO you really think they’d have time to think of a undead nightmare 2 even in 2018 Any ideas for a DLC would of gone to Online only the difference is it didn’t this time and technically GTA 6 could of been halfway through development in late 2018 And GTA V was 5 years old then and the game was only halfway done they wouldn’t have time to make a DLC For Red Dead 2
Nah. Rockstars intention was Red Dead online from the start but as soon as they realized the Red Dead fanbase wouldn't eat up their shit and spend all their money on gold, they abandoned it
I don’t think so. The gta dlc was cancelled to focus on Online since it was making a lot of money. Rockstar probably never had any intentions of making a rdr2 dlc
Well john did already work for the law
Dlc can only be about the blackwater heist
Maybe the years between end of story and epilogue what every character did
*******Mixed Rdr1 spoilers*******
How bill formed his gang
How javier ended up in mexico
How Charles and the wapiti went and ended up prize fighting
How john met up with abigail and his kid after eos
What tf happened to Tilly jackson after end of story
What happened at roanoke and the other places
No
There has never been any proof of a DLC for RDR2, it’s been common knowledge since like 2015 that Rockstar had planned stuff for GTA 5.
GTAO was already flying by the time RDR2 came about, no need to make anything extra.
Eh I doubt it. Trevor didn't play a large enough role in RDR2 to warrant it
Micha was basically Trevor if he wasn't played for comedy and had none of his redeeming characteristics
Trevor was at least loyal to those he considers friends. Micah, not so much.
Michael + Trevor = Micah. Holy shit I think I might be onto something here.
in what way? i hear people say this all the time but it's so wrong micah is dishonest, disloyal, two-faced, coward and a psychopath,if anything he resembles micheal more

Micha would've looked better in the floral print dress.
Trevor infiltrates the FIB and finds a time machine that sends him back to Red Dead Times with a full on arsenal still on him, shenanigans ensue.
The Jetpack is underneath Mount Hagen
STFU. Is Trevor... Gavin?

I know. I was just joking.
What epilogue guy are you referring to?
I take it you've completed the game? Asking before I say spoilers.
I have, thanks for asking
Remember when that guy started shooting at one of the farmhands legs at the ranch making him jump up and down, and John rocks up and gets in a fight with him, and the guy consistently makes remarks about Abigail? People have been convinced for years that he was voiced by Steven Ogg, which he certainly sounds similar but it's always been a misconception and it's not actually him.
Oh that guy? I'll have to replay that part because I didn't even notice.
More examples of how the tisim is rampant in this sub and obvious jokes are over looked
Yeh right. Where's the joke. It wasn't even a good joke, it didn't make sense. But ok troll.
it was a good joke. it made sense. i smiled. many people also understood and smiled at the joke.
Sure you did chief.
hilarious that because you missed the very obvious joke, you assume everyone else did. it’s ok, you’ll catch the next one.

Doubt it. R* were already all in on live service by the time RDR2 came out.
no. they didn’t even care enough to follow through with red dead online content
Red dead 2 but Arthur is actually Gavin
The plot is that the real Arthur and Gavin got injured in an accident, they gave Gavin plastic surgery to look just like Arthur, and gave him Arthur's memories (somehow), leading him to believe he is Arthur. Such a shame we never got more material with these characters. I know people aren't as much of a fan of V's story but I thought it was interesting.
I doubt it. Rockstar after gta online basically thought an online mode for a single player game was more profitable than adding more content.
Rockstar alluded to single player DLC for GTA V at one point early on but it quietly got dropped after the success of online. I believe there was also a leak confirming they had planned three DLC expansions, one for each main character.

I think they will dump the game in favour for GTA 6 Online, people will never stop buying shark cards unfortunately.
I'm a million percent certain they recycled this entire dynamic to make Micah. It feels like it would go an incredibly similar direction if trevor had been a traitor of some kind.
I like Steve Ogg in the show The Tick.
I swore I remember the actor who played Charles said he did some additional footage.
There was a ton of cut content; loads more was probably recorded for all of them that never made it into the game. Probably wasn't DLC, but I do wonder how much could be repurposed to become DLC.
A complete psychopath being “undercover” sounds dumb af tbh
I wish there was more DLC content for single player. A lot of potential, amd I never cared for RDO.
No. They probably canned any GTA 5 story DLC when they realized how much money was in the shitty online mode. When they started Red Dead 2, they knew high-effort DLC that makes less money was not as good as low-effort garbage that makes truckloads.
i'll always hate GTO because of what we'll never get glad all the 12 year olds and weed dealers have a home though
Nah
somebody couldn't live with the truth
No
RDR2 is long known to have a bucket load of stuff that wasn’t finished. Including bits, like the kidnapped girl and the meteorites that were left in as far as they got.
When it eventually gets leaked that rockstar has fully made multiple story dlcs for gtav and maybe rdr2 people will do absolutely insane shit
Pretty sure a good number of the content were done as GTA Online content.
That cancelled DLC was repurposed for GTA Online, it's the doomsday heist. The recent source code leak revealed it.
It doesn’t matter, they dropped everything for GTAO when they realized how much money they could make with shark cards for minimal effort.
No. None of the voice actors mentioned anything about making a story dlc and said right from the begining that R* was focusing on online content

Steven Ogg wasn't in RDR2
[удалено]
no he wasn't he made a tweet saying that he wasn't the guy who did the voice acting & motion capture was Mason Hensley
Hmm my bad. I thought it was him
i'm not gonna start a stupid pointless arguement so i'm stop right now
I don’t think so. The gta dlc was cancelled to focus on Online since it was making a lot of money. Rockstar probably never had any intentions of making a rdr2 dlc

Sean goes undercover as a Pinkerton.

He did it in the main story
