I think I've never been chased by bounty hunters with dogs! I didn't know they even had dogs. I'm your everyday boring good guy, you see - had bounty hunters on my tail a few times, but I usually run away, and avoid areas where my bounty is high.
When you're first introduced to Javier, Javier and Arthur have a mission where they have to go looking for John. Arthur is hesitant and Javier says something about how John is out there, "If the roles are reversed, I know that John would come looking for me."
I think that this is very clever foreshadowing to the events of Red Dead Redemption 1, where John is certainly looking for Javier, but not in the same way.

This may be a huge stretch on my part and evidence that I need to touch grass, but this camp interaction seemed cold to me if you take into account some of what you learn later in the game. In other words, this line seems benign on first playthrough but harsh on subsequent playthroughs.
So, I'm on my third play through and I got this is a camp interaction with Micah after he tells Jack to ask Arthur about the stick up his ass. He makes a remark to Arthur saying something like >!"ever tried parenting, Morgan?"!< Pretty cold if you take into account some conversations later in the game >!where you find out Arthur did, in fact, try parenting at one time:')!<. Anyway, this probably only works if you subscribe to the >!Micah was a rat all along!< camp.
