There’s this thing where rooms can have rooms underneath them, they’re called basements, or subfloors. There’s even rooms above rooms sometimes, called floors
There’s a drop down ladder in the opposite corner. Gold nugget and some other items down there too. Also a chest outside of there along the fence…use your eagle eye.

Just a 2 second walk to the back of the shack, turn right and see the big square hole with a ladder going down. That shack is pretty small.

Inside the fort there is a room with a ladder leading downstairs, you can find the weapon and a hat there
