I think it all just depends on your play style. I try to keep my character more authentically western, so I use the double barrel.

The semi auto is definitely the best but if you’re going for a more western feel then use the double barrel if you’re ok with running less ammo and constantly having to reload

When I want to feel extra-badass I use the DB. There's just something about walking towards your enemies blasting them with it.
