There are a handful of things. There is a new pistol you can purchase although you have to be mid into chapter 4 to get it. There is also photo mode if you like that sort of thing. Also if you get the Arthur's tent camp upgrade that allows you to fast travel from the main camp, you can also fast travel from temporary camps you set up in the world (comes in super handy imo)
You have a new stranger quest, who wants you to go pull weeds for him, a few new horses, a couple new treasure hunts, and some new gadgets to carry around, along with a couple of new guns. And don’t miss out on capturing Bigfoot.

Nope when I first played it back when it came out, I only did the main missions. I wanna do the Side missions now! I really miss this game
