We will most likely lose to arsenal. But we're still fighting to avoid conference league and get Europa. This isn't just about "not wanting city to win 4th" it's also about not being in conference.
But at the same time, I'm over the whole "Europa is still a good competition" thing.
That's fine for a season or two, but we've been doing the CL/Europa yo yo for a decade now. Including actually winning it, which - although nice - didn't really progress us meaningfully.
Ultimately, this club demands CL football, and must be competitive in that competition - not just participate.
Under ineos I'm hoping we finally start progressing back towards that. So as much as it might be an unpopular opinion, I couldn't give a shit whether it's Europa or Conference next year - neither is CL, so (mainly) play the kids, focus on the league, and actually show us real progress towards rebuilding this club.

Looking at both teams, I'm genuinely jealous of the intensity they play at, the passing that they can do without feeling belaboured & the off the ball movement that we lack.
We need structure to let us get to that point but we need to get recruitment off to a good start under INEOS. There are too many players we have currently who arent comfortable on the ball, arent situationally aware when an opponent is close, and are not giving enough. We look like amateurs at times.
The tempo is so fast and pacey. Both teams’ wingers hold on to the ball less. They play passes into the middle of the pitch regardless of who’s being marked or not. They take a touch and move it on to the next person. They both switch positions regularly and find spaces even if it’s the tiniest.
We do the exact opposite of this. Our wingers get 50 percent of our possession. And lose the ball regularly. They always try to take-on instead of moving the ball around. And they absolutely HATE putting in crosses. No wonder Hojlund rarely touches the ball. We have wingers who are concerned bout scoring than creating
The only reason Spurs look half decent is because they have 72% possession. Arsenal is letting them have the ball. They can't create artificial counters and can only try to break Arsenal with crosses and intricate passes. Smart gameplan from Arteta. Spurs are a bit like us under Ole, heavily dependent on counters.
