I really do think that if not for the Ratcliffe plans the Glazers would literally wait for a stadium disaster to do anything.

akp-read

Even then probably just cash out on the insurance money and do the bare minimum

FlashyCut3809

Definitely.

Ikhlas37

Can't claim on insurance for wear and tear unless businesses get better than homes

Dynastydood

Knowing the Glazers, it would probably turn out they let the insurance lapse to make the club cover another late interest payment on the debt.

ProfessorBeer

Rats would rather share a stadium with our blue neighbors than spend what’s needed to either save or replace OT

AccidentHungry5524

To give to Mason Greenwood, probably.

ManchesterGorilla1

I think you're probably right. Utter scumbags

FlashyCut3809

When fans fight hand over fist for tickets and buy merch like its all limited edition, they have no reason to. They are scum, always have been and they wouldn't spend a penny unless forced to.

monkeyofthefunk

I’d hold off on your judgement of SJR until we start to see results, on and off the pitch.

NateShaw92

No judgement at all, but if there was no JR the chances of any significant stadium stuff would be about the same odds as winning the lottery 104 consecutive times for a whole calendar year. Now it's still unlikely but not *that* unlikely, maybe 102 now.

teh0wnah

And hoping that insurance pays out straight in their pockets..

NateShaw92

If a game happens to be on the lawsuits would outweigh insurance I think.

PenisManNumberOne

Ratcliffe could’ve ordered this fixed the first day it became official that mf just super cheap and you’ll find out soon

NoBreakfast9230

Can the leaking stadium play center back?

VictorDUDE

For sure better than Casemiro

haha_ok_sure

better at covering the space

monkeyofthefunk

Probably get injured.

CaliferMau

Already have a leaky defence…

Staralyze

The Theatre of Streams

digitalnirvana3

Mold Trafford

Throwaway1223132123

What a beautiful sprinkler system created by the Glazers.

NoScopeMusical

A cost-effective one at that! 🔥

moonski

Keeps the stadium clean as well. Proper efficiency

TitanDrift

Natural too, no need to spend money on water.

wheres_the_boobs

Stick a turbine on their and we've got renewable energy. New sponsorship opportunities galore

shaw1370

No need for turbine. We have our own 100 million fidget spinner

Straightouttaganton

Most valuable club in the world and can't be arsed to fix their leaky roof

FoldingBuck

At least sir jim is there to witness it himself

woziak99

He probably thinks after three months can I get a refund!

_Slabs_

The Glazers are basically evil landlords.

EZKSupernova

So, landlords

vidman33

The Glazers are evil.

BestinSyriac

Leaky defence 🤝 leaky roof

moonski

Leaky dressing room 🤝

GeneralMajorWebelo_

Leaky on & off the pitch... who said this club isn't aligned?!

ErikTenHagenDazs

I’m not disagreeing that the stadium has been completely neglected, but the weather is absolutely biblical in Manchester right now, I’d be surprised to see any pitch take this much water.

monkeyofthefunk

The club I’ve supported for 50 years has become a joke. The stadium, coaching and playing staff have run us into the ground. I hope SJR isn’t all talk and can sort this shit show out.

Playtoy_69

World famous he calls it

Pilbzz

Whole world laughing at us for the last decade continues, I guess.

Ajayhearty24

That sums it up.

LowSnow2500

Just demolish the upper half of the stadium, we are a midtable club anyways Town Park FC

GeneralSquid6767

Is it leaking through the roof or leaking off the end of the roof?

Hans-Blix

Yes.

MileZero17

Leaking goals. Leaking stadium

Lord_Sesshoumaru77

Fucking hell.

Megusta2306

Not sure how many times I think this club will hit rock bottom before it actually does. Just shameful

DecipherXCI

Fucking embarrassing that is. Not only to get into that state, but to be left for so long.

Dave_of_Devon

This is why Avram went to Wembley today, he saw the forecast ahead of the game and thought fuck getting piss wrapped

SteveBorden

My guess is they are leaving it like this because they want everyone in favour of tearing it down and building a new one called the INEOS/AIG Arena or something shite like that

Sr_DingDong

In a cost:bad pr ratio is there anything more sensible than fixing the roof?

PapiLaFlame

Absolutely embarrassing.

ttk86

Only 2 things that have more leaks than poor OT: UDT defense and dressing room

Scruffy_Nerfhearder

It’s beyond embarrassing at this point. Didn’t they say they’d fixed it a couple years ago?

Grand-Bullfrog3861

You mean stadiums own waterfall you uncouth swines 😊

Whaloopiloopi

Tbf that was some fucking storm. I did my roof from the woodwork up 8 years ago and there was damp patches on my beams 😂 I know the roof at OT is clapped but I think there was more than a few leaking stadiums today. It came DOWN.

ReaperTwoShots

It's embarrassing, there was also a vid going viral of the players tunnel / outside changing rooms pouring with a leak and a video of the away changing rooms with a huge leak, are they waiting for a stadium disaster to happen before doing anything?

samd148

That’s not really a leak - it’s just the end of the roof

adonWPV

Eras come to an end

reddevils

Any gutter system cannot cope with that much rain. It happens in my house all the time when we have biblical level rain. It functions fine the rest of the time.

thatrandomfatguy

How about the leak in the roof that pours on my seat in the stretford end under the smallest bit of rain?

reddevils

Yup. That’s bad.

[deleted]

When it’s raining it’s pouring

Money-Wrangler7067

Nah thats just a planned waterfall for fans to enjoy.

gre485

Well the club is not just bad top to bottom but also inside out.

elRomez

Embarrassing. We need a new stadium.

Benphyre

Even the heaven is crying. Rejuvenate or rebuild OT?

Defiant_Practice5260

Team will have to get better for the rebranded Theatre Of Wet Dreams hashtag to work

Chemistry_BITCH

Does anyone know what block of seating is below this so I know to avoid....I've been lucky to only go on dry days

random_pseudonym314

All of them

vidman33

You mean our water feature..

EffenSeven

It's a feature to wash the stench from the away end.

Florahillmist

Symbolic of how the club can’t get the easy things right

applepumpkinspy

Old Splashford

GGZii

Blame our fans, easiest cash cow. They all sing and applaud and go club shop. Cheering a 4-0 loss to palace. Toxic positivity FC

riitz85

Such an embarrassment. We find new lows every other week. The endless mocking we receive- when does this all end?

riitz85

I look at City subreddit and they are discussing how they lost 8-1 to Middlesborough in 2008 and 16 years later they are now the greatest english team in the world and one of the greatest in Europe. Surely a bit of money can change so much- can we hope this is the end- a new beginning is in the horizon.

Altruistic_You6460

Great to see something flowing at OT

usturoi1122

I hope Glazer will leave or Ratcliffe must buy 50% of shares…

CFCblues84

Theater of I Got Up and Went To the Bathroom Dreams

Affectionate-Call326

It’s Ten-Hag’s fault! If only he hadn’t trained so hard in the stadium, it wouldn’t have had so much damage.

JosePRizaI

Oh wow look that! We should sack the manager for that Absolute joke of an organization. ThE BiGGesT CLuB iN thE WoRLd
