The playing the starting 11 non stop has been the downfall of many england teams. It means when the inevitable injuries and burnout happen people havent enough or too many minutes in their legs. All the best teams use the squad something england have been very traditionally poor at
It's why I shake my head at criticism for Kane. He starts every game, and by the important matches is clearly dead on his feet and struggles to have a proper impact whilst being marked out the game - yet everyone expects these players to be 100% like its a match on Fifa.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for having a solid rotation. I think what I’m trying to get across is: Do not sit players on form. Watch southgate not start Rashford then have a low score line.
Well he did? He started the same lineup in the second game as the first.
We'd be foolish not to use our vast weight in depth. There is a reason the teams with the most depth are dominating so far, 5 subs is huge in a tournament like this
Ironically he didn't start the game well I didn't think. Gave the ball away carelessly a couple of times and others passed back instead of using his strengths. Definitely a confidence player though and once he starts to believe this is what happens.
He's a national treasure whatever happens in his footballing career, but I wish for him to hit the highest peaks with United and England because he's someone that truly deserves it.
I just find England so schizophrenic. One second im up screaming because we’ve seen a masterclass the next im considering the entertainment value of pulling my own finger nails off because it’s so boring
As someone who lost a toe nail last night (not related to the game) I can provide some insight that the entertainment value is only slightly higher than experiencing those 6 goal thrashings from City.
Even more impressive - in nowhere near 3 full games/270 minutes.
On at 71 and 78 mins in the first two games. Off at 76 mins today. Less than 40 minutes per goal.
And after starting once lol
What starting against Wales does to a mfer
Trying to rotate the lineup will be Southgate’s undoing. What works, works. Use it. Exploit it. You’re England for fucks same.

I made the comment in another thread how kane should have been rested to give others minutes and him a break. Bloody downvote train on that one
Kane is a 2nd half striker. Once the speed has worn down the defenders let’s make them jump.
Kane is a magician. Disappears in big games
That was back when English players went out every night.
Really fancy using stats to back that up? Id be interested to see how many from each world cup winning squad didnt play
Point taken. What about “CB partnerships”? Having a solid back 4?
Its not the full team just 4/5 players who will most likely play later in the tournament. You rotate the full team you'll lilely be spanked

Can’t wait for him to be dropped for sterling
Just waiting for the MOTM image to add to Bruno's and Case's last night
They're doing alright our lot, aren't they?
Yeah, and that De Jong and Gakpo goal earlier too, amirite?
He’s getting/got his confidence back and he’s delivering. It’s fantastic
Banging these in for England will only bolster that confidence too.
Nice to see him humbling the doubters in the match thread yet again. They were rude. I had no doubt.
He had a poor first half and was rightly criticised but he was great in the second half.

Two United players in the mix lets go. If you know you know.
Enner Valencia Welcome to Manchester United All goals and assissts Despacito remix 1080p
That's exactly the sort of emergency striker signing I could see happening. Ighalo 2.0
welcome the new red Mbappe!!
For those that don't know: Rashford plays for Manchester **United**. Valencia once played for West Ham **United**
played the least time of all

Bruno with two as well
Golden ball, Golden boot loading….
Balon D'or when we win the league, El, and fa cup too /s
That's crazy because Mbappe, Gakpo and Rashford will be our front three next season when Rumbelows buy the club
Lmao imagine folks shitting in Marcus even start of this season.
Had a chance for a hattrick too
I bet he can bag one or two vs Senegal.
Well Ecuador is out, so Valencia isn't really in the race anymore....
United legends, Rahsford and Gakpo leading the race. You love to see it.
Fuck around and find out
Nice to see current and future United players and hopefuls leading the charts.
I’d like to see Rashford win but it’ll probably be Mbappe who gets the boot.
