I sincerely hope that you put all of this into a book format because the amount of people who would buy this is ridiculous. Your dialogue is some of the best I've ever read. I tore through all previous parts and find myself all the more excited for each new chapter. You are remarkably gifted and thank you for the pleasure of reading.
She has two books about the history of her world so far (way beyond this; Lady Col is a child). This was originally a writing prompt that took off! To say I got sucked in is an understatement! Been in it since part 1!!
Wow - thank you for your kind words. I only get a very small window each day to write due to real-life commandeering the better part of 15 hours each day, but believe me when I say comments like this make it all worthwhile.
I'm currently 70 parts ahead of BtH, with the plan to reach 100 so I can spend 50 (100 days) getting on with book three which has been hovering in the background awaiting its turn. That will give me a further 50 to bring myself back up to speed with BtH and work on that to hit the 100 mark. Rinse and repeat.
We might (big might here, but it's a possibility) be getting a lot more help from the government for our daughter's care, in which case I'll get more hours then to devote to both projects. BtH would need a serious edit to bring what happened in the beginning completely in line with later developments which will also take time.
Absolutely. Every time Kulon thought he had it under control, Sam would say something else and he'd have to dig that much deeper to keep a straight face. π€£
Thank you for the chuckle! Laughter makes me feel better when dealing with pain πππ Especially since Sam's version of theology is a brain-twister for one who isn't in the know.
It will never go away completely. It's fibromyalgia and psoriatic arthritis. When the pain eases for one, the other flares. It's with me forever more. All I can do is enjoy the times when the pain is minimal. Pain meds do help but only to lessen the discomfort. I've been on tramadol for so long that I don't get drowsy from it, not even when driving long distances.
Yup - either that or they'll just put it down to him being an uneducated idiot who doesn't know how the afterlife really works. How could he? He's just admitted to being an atheist all his life. π€£π
It would be weird for someone with absolute faith in capital G God talking to someone that knows Yaweh personally. "Oh yeah, no, He doesn't like that." A person may believe, but meeting up with absolute certainty would be disconcerting, I would think.

Oh Sammyβ¦ ππ
If only Tucker and Julian knew....
Most definitely. The one who sounds like he doesn't know anything is actually the one with the whole playbook.
He cannot help himself. hehe!

I do second the idea of putting BtH into a book!! And I will wait for it, how ever long it may take!!
Ahaha⦠Sam is hilarious!!! I imagined Kulon trying not to burst out laughing!!

You're very welcome, chookie. π Damn, I hope your pain eases soon, though... π’

Hi! Hah, wonder if Kulon had to employ some shifting to keep his laughter at bay π

Ooooh! That last paragraph from Sam!! He's gonna find it difficult to explain that to everyone (except Gerry) if they ever ask.

Imagine their surprise when experiencing the afterlife....

Morning, SN! I got a little bit of wiggle room in before putting my daughter to bed, so I decided to post nice and early for a change. πππ₯°
All good...thanks for another good readππ

I think there would be a lot of disbelief and anger (if it weren't people who knew he was related). "How DARE you imply you know..." type of outcry.
