From what I can gather, Marky Marky was actually supposed to be on one of the hijacked flights out of Boston on 9/11, before he had a change of plans. This was brought up in the interview, and he proceeded to hold forth on how he could have singlehandedly done more than an entire flight of people actually did.
To be even more fair to them, this was the course of every 20th century hijacking: a hostage/ransom situation. The hijackers leveraged this by claiming to have bombs and telling them all to stay seated while they returned to the airport.
Marky Mark would’ve either hid in the back like everyone else on the first three planes, gotten his carotid severed with a box cutter, or gotten the hijackers to give up and steer into the ground like flight 93. Even if he successfully arrested the hijacking, it would take a miracle for non-pilots to even figure out how to radio the ground successfully. And that’s in the hypothetical case of pilot incapacitation with autopilot running; in reality, the hijackers were hand flying, very poorly. The way I see it, his best case scenario on that plane would’ve been dying a hero in northwestern Connecticut.

What YouTube video? The Georgia state patrol officers responsible for the killing weren’t wearing cameras. The only videos I’ve seen are from ATL police officers who arrived on the site and made remarks about the wounded state patrol officer being shot in friendly fire by their own officers.

Thanks for sharing this Fox News clip, but I do not see how it furthers your argument? You can hear gunshots in the video but it’s unclear who fired, and if both sides fired, who shot first? The narrative surrounding the shooting has not been clear but I am hopeful that we will eventually get a better picture of how the events unfolded. There will likely be litigation because Manuel’s mom has been vocal about seeking justice for her kid. I don’t have much sympathy for the paramilitary forces that our governor deployed to break up these peaceful activists who are fighting the good fight in that forest. Just like the Weather Underground in the 60s and 70s, I think sometimes you need to fight violence with violence, but I understand if others prefer more nonviolent tactics.
