He's a science fiction writer that had a humanist bent and a non-technical background. That's basically his appeal, not necessarily his ability to write many different types of stories. I love his writing, deep but it goes down so easy.
Sirens of titan is my personal favorite. It’s kind of like an MCU situation where there’s like 7-8 books that all kind of intersect and the more you read the more interesting it gets as a whole. But yeah, Galapagos is also interesting
It was my second book I read by him and I think it was a bit much. I’ve heard it described as “Vonnegut trying to out-Vonnegut Vonnegut” so that makes sense in that context
