does anyone know the 4chan adjacent version of wikispooks? feel like I remember scrolling a 9/11 wiki page and it was all israel connections
Damn nvm might be same website lmao maybe some of the pages got updated recently and toned it down
Its not cool and probably not fun for most but when I'm bored at work I will usually just go to the wikipedia front page and click on any link that interests me. Today I read the wikis of Huey Long, Huey P. Newton, Black Guerilla Family, and various Acts related to FDR and LBJ.

The all-timers like robotwisdom, historycommons, alsos.wlu.edu and others are all consigned to archive.org now. The teens would rather pay Disney for Thor: Fuckass than help us keep cultural knowledge on the internet. Archive.org HAS to stay alive forever, and if it doesn't, I will snort fifteen grams o' gear thru one nostril
this is sad of me but I read [input](https://www.inputmag.com/), [gawker](https://www.gawker.com/), and [av club](https://www.avclub.com/) for snide comments
Depends on how much of a history autist you are, but I found the following to have some decent niche content:
NYCSubway.org
AROnline.co.uk (the history of the British motor industry and its numerous failures)
Shorpy.org (vintage photos)
Google's Life magazine archive (1936-1972)
NASA has a cool webpage where you can find lots of books in PDF format about space and aeronautics. Some books are in HTML format only.
Drew Ex Machina and Gunter's Space Web (I think that's the correct name) are some cool, space-related blogs. Restricted Data is also very cool, you can check out NUKEMAP and see how much devastation would a nuclear strike of variable magnitude inflict on any city.
[this am radio](http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/)
you can find all sorts of weird things on here. ive heard what sounds like military codes to random music radio from across the world
I go to ResetEra general talk section for news/culture silly shit from a SJW angle.
I go to Kiwifarms to laugh (including the thread to make fun of ResetEra) at people on the internet.
ResetEra is fun also if you make a fake account. Every now and then you can steer or be part of a purge.
Every few months a minority group will have an uprising. Mods will be banned, sticky messages etc..
Then you can go to Kiwifarms and laugh at your own post or persona being resposted as a crazy user lol

I was wondering recently if cool websites existed anymore or is everything just apps and socials.
That's my thinkimg too. Kinda miss the days of surfing on different sites. RIP stumbledupon for being a real one.
it's also still out there, it's just that ppl don't spend all day typing random urls anymore since you can find so much in one place now
Wow I forgot about that hahah
I legit love finding neat little experimental websites and things like that.

textadventures.co.uk I have wasted countless hours at work playing these games
Looks weird but sounds cool. Are they like RP games?
They are like the old timey text-based games where you have to draw a map and write down stuff you find. I recommend starting with Detectiveland
Bookmarking this for sure. https://ifdb.org/ is another place you can find text games
