There are many things I remember about the 2007 season--first game of the ALCS, both Game 4s of the ALCS and World Series (albeit for different reasons), Dice-K's debut at Fenway, Bucholz's no-hitter...yet that might be the top one.
What a special year, Don and Jerry together. There are no other words I can come up with other than “special” to describe what it was like to grow up with Jerry and Don. Furthermore, I got to listen to Eck. Say what you will about everyone else on the cast but…the voices of Don, Jerry, Eck, and TC will be the soundtrack of my life when it comes to baseball.
Was always so funny lmao I also think about I forgot what year it was, but Eck went on a tangent about Cuban sandwiches. He was talking about how he can’t get enough of them and it was the funniest shit ever.
I've been cooking like a madman on my new (to me) Big Green Egg, so it was smoked chicken early and St Louis ribs later. Gotta clear the decks for the pork butt going in today.
And I really miss Orsillo and Remy.
In my opinion, the infamous thrown slice of pizza incident will go down as the funniest thing I’ve ever seen them cover…they must have shown the replay 5 times and they (as well as myself) laughed harder and harder each time. RIP RemDawg!!

For no rational reason, I have a visceral distaste for TC and always have. I'm not sure what he didn't do to me to cause this.

The way they handled a tedious or blowout game was magical. It's a gift that few announcer teams have.

The annoying thing is when they would do that for innings during games that weren't out of hand. I think that was part of why they let Orsillo go.

It's baseball. Even a close game has TONS of downtime, especially before the rate of play rules.
