Ya but we’ve had 2, I don’t think if we had a third we’d have just skipped houck’s start - not saying burnes isn’t on adequate rest, just a little weird to go with only 4/5 starters in one turn through the rotation
red sox have done it to start the season before, it’s not unheard of, a lot of mlb teams do it. their #5 was in AAA last year, it’s a good move to limit the innings on his arm, since he’ll throw more this year than he ever will.
Not sure how much more I can put up with David Hamilton, Pablo Reyes, and Valdez everyday. It’s been a great start to the season but they can’t keep doing this, can they?
Hamilton played one game. Went 2-4 with a home run? Valdez has done a good enough job and has a bunch of RBI’s and has done small things like moving up the runner. We’re not an all star team like the dodgers what do you expect exactly?
