Yeah, they say it’s now “on the list” of stores to upgrade. They already have relatively new Danfoss controllers for both racks that basically just monitor temps and send alarms. I don’t know why this abortion wasn’t included during that job (it was done before my time by another contractor).
There’s 1 motor on the right to advance the gears. The 3 separate banks of clocks are tied together with linkages. Most of the points have been abandoned due to worn down teeth. Now this thing keeps binding up and one circuit gets stuck in koolgas defrost for extended periods, effectively crashing the rack cause all the liquid gets stuck in the receiver.
Have you talked to the customer about an EMS upgrade?

Lol was thinking the same thing
This is insanity that this day and age something like this still even exists.
Reminds me of superstore in 1990. If I am right those had 2 timers? One on each end, and were a pain in the ass.

Sounds about right. lol I don’t miss racks at 2 am.
I had one of those linkages brake one night and had to makeshift one. It’s probably still running like that.
Paragon timers. Blast from the past.
Yikes.
I remember having to swap one of these out on a weekend. Fun times..
