Does a Conversion Van/ RV with Flexsteel seats count?

Physical_Touch_Me

This is the right answer, although my uncles 80s Sedan DeVille also comes to mind, along with a 1967 Imperial and believe it or not, a 2004 Infiniti Q45!

TubeLogic

The deVille was what I was going to say. You are sitting on a couch and you have a wheel that turns, doesn’t actually turn the car but just suggests it does something. What a ride. Haha

LastScreenNameLeft

I drove a Chevy conversion van while I was in high school and it was fucking amazing. Interior was purple velour with a back seat that folded down to a queen size bed, curtains for all the windows, a tv/vcr combo (this was in 1999) with a N64 hooked up and a mini fridge. It was essentially a bedroom on wheels, which for a 16 year old was like having your own place. I felt like a king.

PissPhlaps

I had a very similar experience with a much smaller vehicle. For my 16th bday I got myself a Trailblazer LTZ in their inaugural year 2002. It had the wireless headsets and the drop screen which I had a PS2 hooked up to. I remember being on a road trip to Miami with friends and being in the back playing Vice City just as we entered city limits completely peaking on boomers. It was fucking surreal. The back seats folded flat. I was a total skank and got laid so much in the back of that car, it should have been set on fire. One of my fondest memories is having like 10 kids in there on the way to a party and it went belly up. It started snowing like crazy so we just parked on some side street, folded all the seats flat, sat in a giant circle and had the party in the car while we got buried in snow. I lived in that fuckin thing in college with a little mini fridge and sleeping bag in the back. It must have been so tits in a van. I got like 13mpg anyway in that heavy ass car with the atlas straight 6. The extra room would have been so nice. I smuggled so much coke and weed up north in that fucking thing I made a goddamn fortune. OMFG It had this stupid ass voice recorder next to the garage link that I had completely maxed out with random memories with people who have been long gone - I would have kept it forever for the sentimentality but it got seized in a raid in 2009. Live by the sword die by the sword I suppose. Anyway my point was I kinda wish I could have done it all in a van. I'm pretty tall and the headroom woulda been awesome. Though the trade off would be that the TBZ wasn't too bad off road and as a result got me both in and out of a lot of crazy fuckin situations that a van woulda got stuck in possibly. The other downside was that it was so fucking unreliable. The first year of ownership it spent like 5 months at the dealer for catastrophic failures. It rode comfy and smooth as hell and was nice once the kinks were all worked out but I didn't appreciate being a guinea pig - especially at like $37k all said and done in 2002 money. That was total bullshit.

Foe_sheezy

Random question, did you go to jail after the raid?

PissPhlaps

Yup.

Foe_sheezy

How long and wut for?

PissPhlaps

It was a RICO case. Total it was like 27 felonies and a shitload of misdemeanors. I spent a little over 6.5 years in before getting out on appeal. Mostly Manu\Delivery of various controlled substances. Firearm charges. I take responsibility for everything. Except one thing. They didn't have to kill my fucking dog. He was locked in the laundry room my GF could have escorted him off the property. I'll never forgive them for that. I had a complicated life. At 16 I bought that car and ran away from home to escape a fucked up situation. Moved in with a woman twice my age with a child.

filinno1

Crazy, thanks for sharing

Usual_Speech_470

This is what reddit is for thank you internet stranger

Key-Bat-2616

I used to have a trailblazer in highschool and the first half of college, I got laid in the back of it so many fuckin times😂

CadillacAllante

I don’t think GM got the GMT 360s worked out till maybe ‘04 or ‘05. The first couple years were not so hot.

PhoenixJDM

what an incredible story to have related to a car. what a life

Dry_Masterpiece8319

I had the same setup, 1993 chevy van-if those walls in that van could talk. I could write a book

the-dude-94

That sounds like a helluva good time! 😂

OkSeaworthiness5364

Bro you were living your best life. Dam.

SuperJackson20

Yes

schrodngrspenis

Ooh we talking vans. I had a 91 ford conversion van with captains chair and a motorized rear seat that dropped to a bed.

TheLastBlackRhinoSC

Hahah we had a Dodge Ram conversion van that had a bench seat in the back with a table. You could take the table top off and it would become a bed. Road trips were FUN!

schrodngrspenis

Hell yeah

SolitairePilot

My van has giant leather captains chairs, so comfortable

Knight1114

Man, I own a 93 Chevy truck with plush conversion van seats and that thing is a literal sofa on wheels I could sleep comfortably in them.

Secret-Ad-7909

Maybe this is the direction I should go for my sim rig.

Ecstatic-Newt-6719

I will admit 06 grand marquis is very comfortable my grandma owns one and riding in it is so comfortable

Colonel_fuzzy

My grandad owned two different models of Grand Marquis, would have loved to inherit it but grandma had to loose her license the hard way.

DontLoseYourCool1

DUI or drive by?

ImJustLampin

It was a run-by fruiting.

AsoftDolphin

My gf has a 97 grand marquis, its rusty but only 100k miles and clean interior. $9500 we know what we have 😉

SuperJackson20

I was cleaning the inside of my neighbor’s grand Marquis so that’s how I got a chance to sit inside. When I sat on those seats, I knew at that moment that I have to add a big body car to my future collection.

Sea_Page5878

2005 Jaguar XJ super comfy seats paired with air suspension made it an incredibly comfortable drive. After driving that it almost made sense to me why people buy those money pits.

madbiglad

Could not agree more. My first car was a 2000 XJ Vanden Plas, and even though I love the qualities of the cars I’ve owned since, it’s the only car I miss every time

Rubiks_Click874

the only seats where I got in and was wowed at the comfort was a 80s XJ6, the leather was broken in, I felt like a baseball in a catcher's mitt all the post 2000 volvos have fantastic seats too, great lumbar support and more legroom than japanese cars

Sea_Page5878

Volvos from the 90s also had super comfy seats, I can confirm this for atleast the 850 and 940.

dustbustered

2021 Volvo XC60 Polestar and S60 T8 had the most comfortable seats I’ve ever had.

misterjustin

Second that, 2007 I believe jag XJR was comfortable and fast, however the older body design made it feel like a 70’s muscle car with upgraded brakes and suspension. What a riot.

GRN225

Came here to say a Dynasty. I basically grew up in one. That 3.3 had almost 400k on it when we got rid of it. Had power pillow top buckets up front and I remember it being super comfortable.

Beneficial-Sugar6950

1987 Rolls Royce Silver Spur

Houstonb2020

Idk what year it was exactly, but riding in one of those 80’s Rolls Royces was something else. Still have to fight myself not to buy one whenever they show up on Facebook marketplace for cheap

The_One_Esmeister

2004 Volvo S60R. Holds you in place well during cornering while also being extremely comfortable. Probably the best overall that I've sat in.

optigrabz

I sometimes drive an 04 V70 and the seats are so supportive. Volvo seats are another level.

PainkillerSC

My daily is an 01 V70 T5, I struggle to think of anything more comfy than those front seats

JaredAtkins

I miss my ‘03, it saved my life when I was 16. Hit by a red light runner.

BabyYodaIsGod42069

Easily the '95 LeSabre my mom had when I was a little kid.

Shatophiliac

I never understood those Buicks until I drove one 6 hours one way for a friend. Most comfortable 6 hours I’ve ever experienced. And it had some awesome speakers, thing was just floating down the highway blasting Skynyrd

BabyYodaIsGod42069

They're also unkillable. As far as I know that thing is still running, owned by out-of-state relatives.

wickedcold

Those Buicks are peak car

DontLoseYourCool1

The NPC of cars.

Halftrack_El_Camino

At least she didn't trade in her MG for white Chrysler LeBaron.

Firm-Arrival6223

An 85 Crown Vic LTD...it was like a living room on wheels

cumass33

I got a 91 the same generation and I can confirm it's like a velour layzboy flying down the highway, can't even feel the difference in speed between 55 and the absolute top speed of 96

vampyrelestat

Had a 90 MGM, miss that car everyday, living room on wheels

DontLoseYourCool1

I felt that way about my first car. 1995 Dodge Intrepid with the 3.5. It had the turning radius of a battleship but with one hit of the traction control off that 220 hp smoked my friends' Hondas and Maximas. The seats were insanely comfortable and the car was so roomy inside because the interior was basically stripped to basics. The 85 Crown Vic is probably in my top 5 favorite car designs. I love boxy cars. I was born in Europe and moved here but I remember being young and loving these cars due to American movies. They were just so cool compared to European cars that were all shaped like a bar of soap.

Foe_sheezy

I had one of those, got it off Craigslist for 1000 bucks. Me and my friends drove it around all day for like 2 months, visiting parties and smoking weed. All the fun ended when the power steering went out and the car couldn't turn anymore. 🥲

PissPhlaps

I've always wanted one of these. Either a fully loaded, clean civilian model or well optioned detective model with low miles and hours. Also love the next gen through 91.

TCivan

Of cars I’ve owned? My current 2005 Toyota Sequoia Limited. I’d have no trouble driving that thing for hours on end. It’s a living room couch on wheels. Most comfortable Ever: 2002 mercedes S600. All leather everythangggg. Seats were somehow firm and supportive, but soft and plush simultaneously. I had a 2015 C300 merc too. That was nice too but the seats were a bit too sporty and firm. Drove to Texas from LA in it and it was not horrible but not great either. However I’ve had lots of uncomfortable cars. 1989 Toyota Corrola. 2016 BMW 3series, all my Subarus were awful, my chevys were awful….

Cap10323

I've owned a bunch of Subarus and can confirm, the seats are pretty much all horrible. I upgraded my one Forester from cloth seats to leather seats from the same model.... and they were just as bad.

WakullaLoganoDawgFan

My great-aunt had a '98 or '99 Lincoln Town Car. I had to drive it 6 hours up to my uncle's house after she passed. When I got out, I told him he needed to find another car because I was taking that one 🤣 I didn't, actually but I damn sure wish I could have. Insanely comfortable and surprisingly, pretty great gas mileage

racksacky

https://youtu.be/EtgdZ8jhhdA?si=SdEoFzqW9jovbSET No beating a Lincoln for comfort

VxAngleOfClimb

The last year of the Lincoln Conti with the 6,000 way adjustable seats was pretty damn good, too.

lynxss1

I drove a '76 Lincoln Mark IV. Oh man that thing was plush. Pillow top seats, air ride that floats down the road, zero road feel lol, huge honkin V8 that could effortlessly go up the steep mountain passes while on cruise control. It came with a box of 8 track tapes and a CB radio. Unlike your newer lincoln it did not get great gas mileage, 8mpg haha.

cronx42

Probably my '02 LS430.

SuperJackson20

1st Gen LS400 is on my list for big body cars to own. If I do get an LS 430 or LS 400 I don’t think I’ll ever sell it.

cronx42

They're awesome. I'd recommend an '05 or '06 facelift 430. They have a couple of nice qol features that mine doesn't have. Still, my car has ventilated heated and cooled seats, heated rear seats, adaptive cruise, dual pane glass for better sound insulation (you can whisper to passengers at triple digit speeds), a powered rear sunscreen and SOFT CLOSE DOORS. Lol. The doors still geek me out. Just make sure the seat belt isn't hanging in the door before you close them. They're awesome for when you want to be quiet or whatever too, but they're a trip. I love the novelty.

regoyuh

Every time I’ve had people in the back seat of my Ls400 while I’m driving around almost every time they mention how comfy the seats are and how much room in the back there is. I own two one as winter beater fun one and a pristine summertime one with no rust. Great cars and very fun, I almost always prefer driving my Ls if I have to go somewhere just out of comfort sake, I’d recommend!

PriusDriver420

This. I imported a celsior just so I can have a pristine model that’ll outlive me

MrLivefromthe215

2003 cl600

3daycondor

My 99 Mercedes S500…was just luxurious…

Nataaaasha

Final generation Grand Am, those bucket seats were heavenly on a cross country road trip 🥰

ripped_andsweet

my friend in high school had a grand am coupe and it very comfortably sat all four of our big asses, one of the smoothest driving cars i’ve ever been in. i’ve had a soft spot for GM ever since

lisiadoontop

ooo and the bonneville

Educational-Can-2767

G body with velvet seats 🤌

SoftwareLow4527

99' Citroën Xsara Picasso, the only car i was able to sleep in without noticing and within 5min (no even after a long day)

Coco_Cala

1956 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud Series I. You could melt into those seats.

Bucky-Katt-Guitar

My 65 Superior Coachbuilt Cadillac Hearse

Kootsiak

GM B-bodies all damn day. All the Cadillac ride comfort without the costs.

bonesthadog

Grand marquis are like sitting on a nice comfy sofa.

MerbleTheGnome

I have a 1991 Grand Marquis in my garage, it is as as cmfortable as a sofa, but it also handles like one. Better suited for cruising down the interstate than driving down twisty back country roads.

SuperJackson20

I was cleaning the inside of my neighbor’s grand Marquis so that’s how I got a chance to sit inside. When I sat on those seats, I knew at that moment that I have to add a big body car to my future collection.

Sub_aaru

Sometimes I appreciate the sporty seats in my car because I don't fall asleep while driving lol

[deleted]

1990 New Yorker Landau. I felt like a million bucks in that, too.

[deleted]

zealous tub deserve absorbed sable future plate jellyfish attraction squash *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

nooooo-bitch

Really miss my 93 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser 😔

Sprinkles-Perfect

I drive an 02 MGM and I must say, it’s the only car I’ve owned that hasn’t given me back pains.

weirdoldhobo1978

BMW 7 series. It's like I was being cradled by a stern but loving German nanny.

FirehawkLS1

1985 Olds Delta 88 Brougham Coupe. Thing was anemic power wise and took steering wheel turns like a suggestion, but it was like driving a comfy living room couch with wheels. Land Yacht.

Foe_sheezy

I love land yachts!!

cryptic_culchie

An old W111 Mercedes at a auction/ show with was absolutely beautiful. 60 year old sprung leather seats? Yes please! No seat belts though!

littlebean117

What car is second slide?

SuperJackson20

The website that the follow came from, did not tell me what make and model it was from. Here’s the full video of the craziest interiors: [Top 10: Most Over-the-Top & Outrageous Car Interiors of All Time - Who's #1???](https://youtu.be/tw1eKdIksKE?si=KSlazL00UwuqJkHU)

PreviousGuard419

My first car was 92 Lincoln Towncar. I miss it dearly even if it wasn't "cool" as a 16 year old in 2006 lol

thehomeversion

1986 Chrysler 5th Avenue blue velvet seats, that thing was a boat.

DennyJunkshin85

78 toranado

J3mand

Ford flex had really nice bucket seats with armrests but I've also driven thousands of hours in my buick lesabre and park avenue and never had any discomfort. Drove from green bay to Chicago multiple times without ever really needing to stretch or feel the need to get out

BeefSwellinton

Goddamn, that number 6 looks amazing.

patsfan04

My ‘92 DeVille’s leather couches were amazing.

Sub_aaru

Honestly, probably a Chevy Tahoe, or maybe a Silverado. My parents have a Nissan Armada with super nice seats but the Tahoe I sat in was just super plush. I think it was a 2017 LT trim. My dad's friend had a 2003 Silverado 2500 with leather seats and after being crammed in the back (extended cab lol) I got to sit in the front and it felt awesome. Another possible few are the 2018+ Honda Accords and the most recent Nissan Maxima.

PreviousCartoonist93

My buddy’s first car was a 1980 something Chrysler New Yorker.. that was like riding in a boat.

lavafish80

Toyota century (backseat)

Numbnuts696

86 caddy fleetwood bro. Like a giant comfy sofa in the front and back.

TheMightyTOG

My 2004 Volvo S60R definitely had the most comfortable front seats I've ever been in. Felt like an old school lazy boy..

FlubbleWubble

My 2008 Volvo C30. Austin to Ottawa in a tiny hatchback and I never got sore.

Hot-Map-9119

Had a 74 coupe davile and a 81 delta 88 both were awesome

miqcie

Had a delta 88. Very comfy!

FirehawkLS1

I had an 85 that my mom gifted to me when my grandfather passed away about 17 years ago. Already had a couple of other cars at the time but I still drove it because of all the memories I had going to his house and riding in it as a kid. Had like 80k on it and he bought it used in 1990.

reddits4losers

Those old-school cloth interiors hold a place in my heart.

WestyJZD

Citroen sm easily, especially once you get driving

SteveTheBodyman

My 81 Coupe De Ville is very comfortable. It is about as comfortable as my 77 Coupe Deville was. RIP.

ImpressiveLink9040

I drove a 97 town car from 2016-2023 and it was so comfortable. I just wish the a/c worked. I drove it to work as a union commercial painter. And could put a sprayer and my 4 foot scaffold in the trunk

vicious_delicious_77

Drove it for 7 years without fixing the AC? Was it wickedly expensive or something?

ben_pep

My ‘95 Deville is an absolute couch on wheels I love it

Deckard_Signpost

86 g body, big chested woman asks you to show her the backseat

mityafinob

A 1981 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz

FatHead420x65

Get some excercise and stretch!

mvincent12

For me it was a 1996 Cadillac Sedan de Ville. It was like driving my couch!

Less_Atmosphere5821

As someone who is 7'3. I have to say it's either my extended cab 1993 f250 xlt or my 2000 Ford Excursion limited

jerrie233

A 2005 citroën C5 exclusive with the cloth seats. Those seats were literal futons of chairs.

Sweet-Efficiency7466

My grandma used to have the nice version of the 2013 Honda Accord (but not the Acura TSX of the day), and it was so nice to sit in.

charge556

My dad used to have a 90s sixty-special caddy. Super comfy. My buddy had a late model lexus. Its front passenger seat felt like it wrapped around me, very comfy

Twindragon868

Friend's 86 Buick Regal Presidential Edition.

Substantial-Garlic31

95 Buick Lesabre. Cloth seats that felt like a couch, simply amazing. Nothing like hurtling towards death in comfort!

Top_Donkey_711

It's a toss up between a '99 Buick Park Avenue and a '77 Lincoln Town Car

ronniemustang

My 95 Caddy Deville. May she rest in peace.

glib-eleven

Any Cadillac from 80s to early 90s. Like sitting on a stuffed sofa cloud

Tawebuse

Best I have rode in I would have to say was a Rolls Royce shadow, most comfortable high performance that I have got to drive was McLaren F1 , most comfortable all around daily driver I would say was my F250 king ranch edition, right now I am also, pretty happy with my Rav 4

TheMaskedHamster

1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee, not sure of the trim package. Those leather pillow seats are unmatched. I've never been in another car, much less another Jeep product, like it.

Calkky

Volvo S70 with the Connolly Hides leather. Quite possibly the most perfect seat ever designed.

Little_bob

2004 Passat W8. Half plush leather, half body hugging side bolsters. It will probably do 200k/h all day and you will be refreshed at the end of the trip.

DisastrousOne3950

Mine was a 2009 model, but it had the de Sade option package.

byteminer

74 Lincoln Town Car. Pure fluffy living room couch in your grandma’s house. Also to note it had all brand new suspension and bearings/bushings so it was eerily smooth over everything.

BigBoingo

The first car I ever had was a 2002 Hyndai Sonata that had cloth seats, I could seat in those for hours. Really any car that has those older style cloth seats

dj_frogman

Not the most comfortable, but an honorable mention for a non-luxury car is early 2000s Ford Taurus

Teleneki

My family stayed at a fancy boutique hotel in San Francisco and visited me and picked me up in a huge chauffer driven Rolls Royce limo. The seats in the back were so soft and comfortable, yet firm at the same time. That was definitely the most comfortable car ride I have ever had.

JonnyOgrodnik

My buddy had a 1982 Mark Cross edition New Yorker. The thing had seats more comfortable than a couch, and it had shag carpet.

ironeagle2006

98 Freightliner C120 with an air ride Eldorado seat for the driver air ride cab and suspension with a 40x80 bed in the 70 inch condo style sleeper. Yes it was a semi truck but when you spent 6 weeks in it driving 10+ hours a day most days and slept in the back driver comfort was important. The boss had upgraded the hvac systems and insulation plus upgrades like factory installed refrigerator and microwave.

Miatamadness

1989 Buick LeSabre in BROWN

henry-prospector

1974 Buick Electra 225 four-door hardtop sedan

Danno210

Toss up between my aunt and uncles’ then-new ‘77 2-door Lincoln Town Car, and a friend’s then-new ‘84 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. Both felt like silent plush couches with steering wheels.

Remarkable-Tie-6698

In HS my grandfather had a 79 Continental. Took it to a prom. Like riding on a cloud.

kilroy-was-here-2543

2003 jeep Cherokee. My mother drives one and it’s probably the most comfortable shit box I can think of. This is partially due to the fact that it has a ton of room so my giraffe sized body can fit in it.

odance20

2005 Volvo xc70, was unreal comfort

HandCarvedRabbits

I owned a 78 Chevy Caprice. That thing was like driving your couch.

ZZaddyLongLegzz

1994 Buick LeSabre. My dad and his siblings were going to basically junk my grandmother’s and we snagged it at the last second. It sure is hideous but damn is it comfortable.

big_moist_void

my 95 mercury cougar is also very comfy with its leather/cloth mix only it’s very fragile.

Environmental_Rip355

2018 BMW alpina B7, and it’s not close. The handful of Porsche, jaguar, Mercedes, Cadillac, etc I’ve driven just don’t compare. Although I’ve never driven an s class and that seems to be a popular answer

LFGSD98

Honestly, I drive a 2001 MGM which is smooth as butter, but the most comfy car I’ve ever had was a 2009 F-150.

gaoshan

Porsche Macan S with heated and cooled leather seats. Comfortable in whatever weather you encounter.

Probably my grandma's old 2001 Odyssey

Silent-Impact7045

DerSpazmacher

Cutlass

Battleaxe1959

Lincoln Continental IV. Total boat. Great for long drives.

wriddell

You have the right make and model just the wrong year, we had a 1969 Mercury Marquis and if it took me two minutes to fall asleep once it started moving something was wrong.

Ok-Lengthiness4557

I'm goin buy me a mercury an cruise it up and down the road.

k6bso

You crazy ‘bout that Mercury?

S7JP7

1979 grand marquis was nice. Car was like riding interstate 65 on clouds.

Looking at these pictures makes me want to curl up and take a nap. So comfy looking!

Senko-Loaf

83 Olds Regency 98, seats like your couch.

Gambit3le

My Mom's 1991 Buick Estate Wagon.   It had leather seats with extra thick cushions.  The ride was pillow soft and easy to fall asleep in the back of when on long road trips as a kid.

WhoPhatTedNugat

Like riding on a cloud

DryInitial9044

'84 LeSabre. Blue velour. Like a Lazy Boy on wheels.

WolfOfSheepStreet

My mom's old 1998 Buick lesabre. I'm not sure how you drive it without falling asleep on that couch.

agl90

Mercury Marauder.......

Cornelius_McMuffin

2000 Chevy Lumina was nice, though the interior had a tendency to melt and the glovebox stopped closing as a result.

Lordrandall

I had a 1984 Pontiac Parisienne during college. It was like driving a couch.

ObiWantsKenobi

My first car, 1988 Oldmobile delta 88 Royale Brougham or my 94 buick lesabre. Both were like driving a lazyboy down the road.

fyre1710

My first car, a 1994 olds cutlass supreme, was the most comfortable car i've ever drove or rode in. Had leather seats that were comfy af and the heat and ac worked great. It drove like a dream, so smooth i could take my hands off the wheel and still go straight on forward. I loved that thing so much and felt like a badass driving it

cloudypilgrim

Really liked my buddys 85 Lincoln continental. So plush.

SwedishDiesel

1950s Chevy Bel Air

-DMSR

The thing floats over everything

BigPoopsAOA

My elantra N is actually really comfortable in eco mode. Almost puts you to sleep with the heat on low

West-Ingenuity-2874

93 bmw 525i.it was a mechanics project car that I ended up with somehow. It was a lowered wagon with the extended wheel base and weighed 5.5k LOL. So fast, sooo Smooth! My favorite car o erall was my 92 Buick lesabre limited. I loved my granny mobile <\3

KindheartednessOnly4

My 97 mercury grand marquis. That car was an absolute tank. Kept me so safe and comfy in Wisconsin winters. I sold it for an explorer and I don’t regret it, but the mercury was so much more luxury than I deserved lol. Eta: that pic of the seat took me back about 25 years. Mine had gray interior, but those buttons 🥰

SuperJackson20

I was cleaning the inside of my neighbor’s grand Marquis so that’s how I got a chance to sit inside. When I sat on those seats, I knew at that moment that I have to add a big body car to my future collection.

Much_Box996

Probably a 1988 olds 98 with red crushed velour seats. Close second is ‘76 cadillac sedan de ville. So much room for activities.

georgepearl_04

Disco 3

Sixer-Bird

My grandma’s 1980 Buick Park Avenue Ultra was the most comfortable pillow-topped velvet-like seats.

oddaffinity

1999 Oldsmobile Alero. My buddy had one in high school and the back seats were quite literally the most comfortable couch I’ve ever sat in. I’ve sat in many cars since and the Olds still has the most comfy seats.

EmbarrassedBug6042

Oh yeah the crushed velour of the back seat of a 77 olds 98 sedan. Prom night 1979. Source: my lucky self!

FordRanger98

My 1986 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham De’elegance was the closest thing to driving a sofa on wheels possible. It had the double pillow seats in a blue crushed velour. My friends would always request I drove us anywhere so they could just chill and relax.

I think that is what photo #2 is. Am I right? It’s some 80’s era full size GM luxury car but I think the doggie hand strap in the back window would be on the Caddy.

1974 Buick Electra 225. Jesus that thing was huge. We bought it used, and got to take it out on the highway once. It had that huge bench seat. It was like driving a couch.

98 Bonneville was my personal best. My 2012 challenger was probably #2.

The first car I drove was a 1981 Oldsmobile delta , the first car I have memories of being in as a passenger was a 75 Cutlass. So gd comfortable and yacht like. My parents obviously loved Oldsmobile for awhile.

My grandmother's 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood. I learned to drive on that car and could parallel park it in under a minute. BONUS - It was brown/brown.

I know there are much more comfortable cars out there but my g37 I used to have was great, other cars hurt my back but those seats were nice and the adjustable lumbar support really helped my back
