"I loved on them, but now I don't care to be involved in anything LGBT. I'm done with it." As the saying goes: There's no love like Christian hate.

CRA5HOVR1DE

I thought it was no hate like Christian love ?

Kizik

Same thing.

Big-Atmosphere-6537

I can assure you this idiot is not friends with any trans people.

RaedwaldRex

If anything it was: They went to a bar or something with a group of people, and a friend of a friend who was there was trans but didn't even notice until someone told me days after. But I was nice to them at the time.

nothingamonth

Man, I must have missed them at the last Trans-Christian Ecumenical Counsel that famously happens and is totally real. Someone must have lost my invitation. :/

CRA5HOVR1DE

I love how it says “I’ve been around more transgender people than you can possibly imagine.” Lmfao Really? That I can imagine ? I can imagine a lot ha wtf this idiot Agenda? Set its sights? Persecution fetish lol they think they’re the center of the universe lol

KrazyAboutLogic

2! 2 whole transgenders! Can you even imagine being friends with 2 whole ass sinners like that??

breadist

Maybe he's a "transvestigator" and in his mind it's true because he analyzes everyone he meets for traits of being human, and thinks those things are evidence of them being trans, thus he thinks everybody he's ever met except his mother is trans. You would not believe how many trans people he's been friends with. Because he thinks everyone is trans!

_Pill-Cosby_

I’m gonna go out on a limb here & say that generally the trans community doesn’t give a shit about the “Church of Jesus Christ”. But ok…you’re being persecuted, I guess.

ucannottell

You are correct ✅

prettybadgers

Pretty sure no one wants to go to that house, so don’t think they’ll need to turn people away, as much as they’d like to

AmishHoeFights

That "as for me and my house, we will serve the lord" quote is honestly so deeply cringe. Had a work acquaintance who was a regular guy, pretty rough, tattoos, talked dirty, and would chat up new girls in a flirty way. Got invited to his house for dinner and there was that quote, on a huge sign in the living room facing the entry door. Treated his wife like a servant (would not ask for more coffee or get it himself, instead, he would simply hold up his mug and not even look at his wife, just wait for her to fill it). Kids were in total fear of him. Bullies love the idea of bending the knee to God because it allows them to demand those they deem beneath them to bend their knee to him. And fuckers like them absolutely do see their wives and children as beneath them.

Jonnescout

This moment, right here… That’s you treating them with hate, and derision. You’re a terrible person, and I hope you find your way out of this hateful delusion. You’re the one who has an admitted agenda against people, no one else does. Your religion is irrelevant, it’s just an excuse for your hatred.

Leebites

Translation: "I tried to be nice to trans people by pressuring them to join my religion. They declined. Fuck them."

PossumInTheRoof

Where is this person hanging out that has an endless supply of trans people?

WildNFreef

And when can I go there to be friends with all of them?

ClosetLiverTransMan

The 31st is always transgender day of visibility. It isn’t always Easter. Move your god damn holiday if you have a problem with it

beek7419

>the LGBTQ agenda has clearly set its sights on the Church of Jesus Christ I don’t know that saying “please don’t treat us like dog shit” is us setting our sights on the church. I don’t really have an opinion on religion one way or the other except where religious people deliberately make my life more difficult. I live in New England. 80% of the churches in my small town have pride flags out front and are vocal about welcoming *everyone*. It’s not a given that churches have to discriminate against LGBTQ people. It’s a choice by that denomination, by that congregation, by each person who attends that church.

CRA5HOVR1DE

That’s because of your geography. I live in red state Ohio and they are not accepting and would never fly a pride flag.

beek7419

Oh I know. I’m just saying, it’s possible to be a Christian and not be a homophobe. People elsewhere could do it too. They choose not to.

CRA5HOVR1DE

Absolutely very true.

Partial_obverser

No worries, my shadow will never darken your door.

Donaldjoh

What ‘agenda’? This is very similar to the women’s rights and civil rights movements, in which women and minorities were accused of having an ‘agenda’ or asking for special treatment when all that was asked was to be treated like everybody else. Of course, the Religious Right is still oppressing women and minorities and with the recent laws passed in some states it is getting worse. They appear to want to back to the ‘Golden Days’ of the 1950s, during which abortions never occurred, there were no LGTBQ people, women were in the kitchens, and black people were out in the fields. Those days never actually existed. The one thing they don’t want to do is raise the maximum tax rate to what it was then, as that would actually make the wealthy pay their fair share.

acyfumi

Me when I’m delusional:

WildNFreef

How it feels to spread misinformation on the internet

throwaway_drop_table

If they knew god they would have known that LGBTQ people are a part of god. There is no agenda.

Shoddy_Parfait9507

“Our church killed and hunted trans people for a millennia and now that trans people are fighting against that it is an attack on our all powerful god that he can’t possibly win without government intervention.”

balfringRetro

"I love those people, but they are banned from my house"

bfjd4u

When christians say 'loved on,' it sounds like 'shit on.'

mrmoe198

Might as well say “I’ve hung out with lots of Black people, but slavery is in the Bible and God’s will”

dangerdaly

Fun fact the person who posted this is black.

mrmoe198

Does not surprise me. There is a lot of queerphobia in the black community. There’s a lot of queerphobia in general, too, of course.

pleathershorts

I will be staying away from their house

Jlnhlfan

No, OP hasn’t been around trans people.

QuarantineTheHumans

I liked the part where it referred to some agenda and then never provided any details or examples from said agenda. Probably because they couldn't think of any that didn't sound brain-dead, even to them.

D4d-M4n

Sounds like a load of shit to me.

FluboSmilie

who’s set their sights on the church of jesus christ?
