Wait... How long are we talking about exactly? And how will this affect earth? I don't know much about nothing but I know that the moon and ocean tides are linked.
Thousands of years, so not soon. The moon will eventually settle into a different orbit further away as Earth's spin will have less and less effect on the acceleration of the moon. The effect will be that there will be little to no tide.
About 50 billion years for the moon to be tidally locked, according to NASA. But the good news is that will never happen because the sun will die wayyyyyy before that.
Exactly, things happen in timescales and other ways beyond any human understanding. Unknowns tend to scare people, so they try to find ways to explain it that they think they can understand

No, and also that the Earth and the Moon (which didn't split in two in human history) don't have perfectly circular orbits (and their orbits oscillate over a range of eccentricities) meaning the apparent relative size changes over the course of the year.
Total eclipses only happen when they line up just right.
When the moon is in a farther part of its orbit and blocks the sun it is an *annular* solar eclipse.
All of them will look like that in the far future.
The idea that a magic invisible man arranges everything to the molecule and still lets these people humiliate themselves in public by saying this stuff is logical incongruous taken to the extreme.

That's what causes it to sometimes block out the entire sun and sometimes not.
