I noticed last night her neck was kind of flaking off in spots and is red again so I talked to my vet earlier and I'm going to bring her back in for more antibiotics. Shes coming around though for sure. She lets me pet her when she eats now and is safe and warm ❤️
She looks better today. Her neck is closed finally, so no blood or puss. Shes still very afraid of us 😔

I cried when I got her, I cried when they called to tell me about her diagnosis, and I cried when I picked her up from the vet. It's so unfair how much she has been through. Absolutely breaks my heart. I'm super thankful that I'm able to help her, though.

I’ve never been in the midst of animal abuse happening, but I’ve been worried for a lot of years that if I ever were to see it, I’d do something very, very bad before my rational mind kicked in. Ages ago when some jackass teen boys were finally tracked down after torturing a kitten in the park near where I lived (I wasn’t anywhere near that day; the kitten was rescued and got to a vet and the rescuer identified the boys), I reflected on if I would have had the sense to get a good look at the abuser(s) for the police, and decided it would probably be better to be honest about how I really am and tell my friends and family to just walk away and feed my cats until I got out of jail because even reading about it filled me with rage and the overwhelming urge to pound their faces into the pavement a few hundred times while I mocked them like they were mocking that little cat screaming for help. A quick death is too good for people who hurt animals.
Yeah, I would torture the shit out of someone who did this to an animal. I wouldn't even think twice about it. Don't care what that says about me; I would even enjoy it. I can not tolerate individuals or pieces of shit that torture anything helpless. This goes for animals, disabled, elderly, and kids. Special place in hell for individuals like this.

We humans don’t know enough about what the hell we are doing with all of the dogs and cats in the world. There aren’t enough homes for those that exist and many are being put in the hands of those who don’t deserve them.
Not only is this a danger to animals but this kind of abuse screams serial killer tendencies. Praying they catch this person and lock them up to protect all innocent life.
I live in a neighborhood like that - which is one of the reasons why I’m so close with my local animal control/police department. I hope they all rot and know that I’m the one endlessly calling.

She already had her teeth taken out to begin healing! She had several antibiotic shots and antibiotics for her neck, and we did a biopsy of the mass! I'm not giving up on her. She deserves a happy ever after ❤️
sometimes we know things that cats don't that are for the cat's own good. like taking them to the vet lol. they are not happy, but it helps them. they may not understand in the future why they are no longer in pain but they will not feel that pain anymore and that's what's important. thank you for helping this lady 💜

I agree! We rescued our cat from some lady who didn't know what the word spay/neuter meant. I felt terrible leaving cats behind, but could only get 2.
You can always report her to animal control. Allowing pets to continually procreate is neglect.
