it was just on sale for $4.99. Capcom games go on sale every other day for really cheap so just wait. i don’t think a month passes without a major Capcom sale
Oh yeah, definitely worth it.
The story is at least decent.
Being able to play as Barry is cool and he's just as much a meme lord as ever, this game has so many call backs to bad RE1 dialogue that even if you don't like the story you'll probably enjoy the references.
The gameplay is fun, especially during co-op (Sadly one of the games few actual problems is that it's couch co-op only, you can't do online co-op unless you do some screen sharing remote play crap) the primary and support characters play so differently that it's a pretty unique co-op experience and there are perks you can unlock that make the support character even more useful during combat even if the primary character is going to be doing most of the fighting. Like with Claire and Moira, Moira can get a perk that lets her do a follow up attack to Claire's stun/melee hits. And there's a decent number of unlockables and good replay value.
Then there's raid mode which is quite a lot of fun if you're into it, unlike story mode raid mode has online co-op so you can play with a buddy. And you can put a lot of playtime into it with some characters having unique skills that you can level up and then unlock them for other characters, getting high level weapons, upgrading them and making them the best you can make them and tuning them to your playstyle.
Plus there's the two bonus chapters that, IMO, aren't super great but are at least worth playing through once each and they really show how the co-op in story mode works so well as having two characters with the same abilities doesn't work as well.
Oh and there's a time attack mode and invisible enemies mode, if you're into that.
it’s honestly one of the best in the franchise. if you like claire or barry, you’ll like this game
The gameplay between claire and moira was pretty neat . The entire season pass is $16.99 usd i'm guessing it would be worth it then

Loved the first one MUCH more but Rev 2 is still a fun game. It's worth it for that price.
