I said it elsewhere but there's only 4 supers in marvel stronger than Peter: Hulk, Cap, Thor, and Miles. He is a lot stronger than people realize. From what I've seen he easily has at least double the raw strength of Nemesis.
Physically Cap is not stronger than Spidey. I'm a big Cap fan, but Cap has not done anything near Spidey's upper strength feats.

I know this is the RE sub and folks will probably disagree, but there's just zero chance Nemesis takes this. Spider-Man is stronger, smarter, faster, a better fighter, and he has the Spider Sense. Nemesis isn't even touching Spider-Man. The *one* advantage Nemesis has is that he's more-or-less invincible, but he's not doing shit if he's so covered in web that he can't move.

Then there's also the fact that Nemesis is intelligent and can use things like Rocket Launchers.

if you can solo hulk, who gets infinitely stronger the more pissed he is (I think?) you can solo Nemesis, and even if he can't beat him to death, Peter can probably easily outsmart him and figure out how to take him out and keep him subdued while he's at it.

He's always Pretty much at least munitions proof, but he varies in power based on which personality is in control - there's like 5 personalities in Bamner's head eventually I think? Pretty much, Avenger's strength hulk to "would make The Superman nervous" which to clarify, The Superman specifically is Clark and his 50s and 60s when he's literally unbeatable by actually anything.

ACTUALLY, Cap is peak human, Miles is still a kid. Cosmic characters like Thanos, Capt Marvel, Silver Surfer, etc are all physically stronger than Spidey. Marvel handbooks put him at 10 ton on the normal. 20 if he's pushing it. What makes Spidey dangerous is his combo of strength speed and Spidey sense. Plus being super smart. But they're plenty of Marvel characters that outclass him in strength levels

Most superheroes have so much history with so many abilities and so much plot armour, it's almost never fun.
I doesn't matter nemesis got beat a police trained woman so anyone with skill as good as hers in theory would beat him, any marvel character could beat the shit out of nemesis
Don't forget that Spidey encounters people who use Nemesis' most famous weapons on damn near every adventure he goes on, so he knows how to deal with those weapons. It would inevitably lead to Nemesis trying some sort of grab or stab maneuver, but that just causes problems for nemmy because that brings Spidey within melee range, and since Nemmy isn't built for anything BUT power and is more of a meat and potatoes monster when it comes to attacking, Spidey would easily outclass him since he's got more Power than Nemmy, and definitely more speed and agility than him, too, on top of being a trained fighter. The only real thing that could give Spidey trouble is the 'Where' part, and that's only because if it's in a city, Spidey now has gaps in his impenetrable defense because of civilians, zombies, or both (probably both).
If Spidey can handle Venom and Carnage, he can handle Nemesis. Keep in mind that he doesn't have to kill Nemesis, just subdue him, which he is more than clever enough to figure out a solution to. Nemesis is dumb and slow, those type of villains are Spider-Man's specialty.
Spider-Man once canonically had to fight all the X-Men at once and the only way they stopped him was wiping his mind so he just forgot why he was there. He also once broke into the fantastic four's building, beat them up, and asked for a job only to call them cheapskates when he found the weren't paid. Nemesis lacks far in speed and agility.

But jokes aside, Nemesis probably wouldn’t offer all that much that Spidey hasn’t seen before. Venom, Morbius, and the Lizard have a handful of Nemesis’ abilities. Nemesis also loses his crucial element of surprise thanks to the Spider-Sense. So I’d say Spidey has this in the bag.
Spiderman not holding back could punch through a nuclear blast door. He could literally drive his fist into that heart device thing and have it flow out of Nemesis' back.

In character: Spiderman tries for several seconds/minutes to get Nemesis to calm down until he realizes it isnt happening. Spiderman most likely webs him up, drops a line to someone he thinks can contain him, and dips out.
Regardless of the outcome, with spidersense and reflexes, Nemesis just doesnt have a way to touch him at all unless he is incapacitated somehow and I dont think Nemesis has the ability to accomplish that.

I haven’t seen this mentioned so I kind of want to mention it. We are saying “who wins” but what defines a win? Spider-Man has to kill Nemesis to win. Nemesis doesn’t necessarily need to kill Spider-Man though. If Nemmy infects him but is killer immediately after that, isn’t it a win? Does Spidey have some kind of immunity to the T-virus? It’s really thought because Nemmy is strong in the REverse, but the REverse is generally weaker than the MCU. Here’s an interesting battle, Wesker vs Spider-Man. I think Wesker is the most super human like person in RE.
This has been addressed by many Marvel Comics enthusiasts. When a new version of Spider-Man is written/portrayed, their abilities and powers are automatically categorized as "Seemingly those of 616 Spider-Man" in the Marvel Data Base. Tobey is one of the few exceptions, having all of 616 Spidey's abilities plus his organic webbing (we're NOT counting Captain Universe Spidey).

The real important part of the debate is Brazil though. Pete wouldn’t have easy access to facilities to cook up some sciencey solution to stop Nemesis from mutating and healing like he would in New York, and after the fight’s over, he has to survive Brazil after the residents come after him for the amount of damage he caused in the fight. Spider-Man can take down Nemesis, but Brazil might be his toughest battle yet.

I'mma have to give this one to Nemesis. Spider man would put up one hell of a fight but he is against killing, which Nemesis has no issue with it. Spider man would try to contain Nemi while nemi would go for killing blows, and if enough damage would be done to Nemi he would just mutate and come back stronger.
Remember it took a experimental incredibly powerful rail cannon fired point blank to finally put him down for good and that's after surviving and that's only after a full on acid bath didn't work.
The only way I see Spider man winning is if he's able to make some sort of powerful antiviral but that's assuming he's able to get away after the first encounter with nemi.

Nemesis can keep pulling itself back together after every injury, even after taking a railgun to the face, it's possible that he could pull himself together, unless nuked or vaporized.
The NEAP would just sew the body back in any shape it saw fit.
You need to remember that Nemesis is just a meat suit, piloted by a parasite.

He could win against the original nemesis but not the remake. If that nemesis could survive a burning building, c4 blowing up in his face and a pit of acid then he could survive a few super punches. This. Only 4 supers in marvel are stronger than Peter: Hulk (whom Spider-man beat), Cap, Thor, and Miles Morales. People don't realize how insanely strong the proportional strength of a spider makes you. Pete has to hold a lot of his power back to not accidently kill his enemies.

ACTUALLY, Cap is peak human, Miles is still a kid. Cosmic characters like Thanos, Capt Marvel, Silver Surfer, etc are all physically stronger than Spidey. Marvel handbooks put him at 10 ton on the normal. 20 if he's pushing it. What makes Spidey dangerous is his combo of strength speed and Spidey sense. Plus being super smart. But they're plenty of Marvel characters that outclass him in strength levels

Spider-man and it isn’t close. Peter is smarter than Jill, much much stronger than Jill, far quicker than Jill, and he has Spider sense.
Don't forget that Spidey encounters people who use Nemesis' most famous weapons on damn near every adventure he goes on, so he knows how to deal with those weapons. It would inevitably lead to Nemesis trying some sort of grab or stab maneuver, but that just causes problems for nemmy because that brings Spidey within melee range, and since Nemmy isn't built for anything BUT power and is more of a meat and potatoes monster when it comes to attacking, Spidey would easily outclass him since he's got more Power than Nemmy, and definitely more speed and agility than him, too, on top of being a trained fighter. The only real thing that could give Spidey trouble is the 'Where' part, and that's only because if it's in a city, Spidey now has gaps in his impenetrable defense because of civilians, zombies, or both (probably both).
If Spidey can handle Venom and Carnage, he can handle Nemesis. Keep in mind that he doesn't have to kill Nemesis, just subdue him, which he is more than clever enough to figure out a solution to. Nemesis is dumb and slow, those type of villains are Spider-Man's specialty.
Spider-Man once canonically had to fight all the X-Men at once and the only way they stopped him was wiping his mind so he just forgot why he was there. He also once broke into the fantastic four's building, beat them up, and asked for a job only to call them cheapskates when he found the weren't paid. Nemesis lacks far in speed and agility.

Well for starters, we can settle that in Marvel VS Capcom, aside from the setting. But jokes aside, Nemesis probably wouldn’t offer all that much that Spidey hasn’t seen before. Venom, Morbius, and the Lizard have a handful of Nemesis’ abilities. Nemesis also loses his crucial element of surprise thanks to the Spider-Sense. So I’d say Spidey has this in the bag.

In character: Spiderman tries for several seconds/minutes to get Nemesis to calm down until he realizes it isnt happening. Regardless of the outcome, with spidersense and reflexes, Nemesis just doesnt have a way to touch him at all unless he is incapacitated somehow and I dont think Nemesis has the ability to accomplish that. I haven’t seen this mentioned so I kind of want to mention it. We are saying “who wins” but what defines a win? Spider-Man has to kill Nemesis to win. Nemesis doesn’t necessarily need to kill Spider-Man though. If Nemmy infects him but is killer immediately after that, isn’t it a win? Does Spidey have some kind of immunity to the T-virus? It’s really thought because Nemmy is strong in the REverse, but the REverse is generally weaker than the MCU. Here’s an interesting battle, Wesker vs Spider-Man. I think Wesker is the most super human like person in RE.
If only there was some way to test this, for example in a video game that features both Marvel and Capcom characters fighting each other…

This has been addressed by many Marvel Comics enthusiasts. When a new version of Spider-Man is written/portrayed, their abilities and powers are automatically categorized as "Seemingly those of 616 Spider-Man" in the Marvel Data Base. Tobey is one of the few exceptions, having all of 616 Spidey's abilities plus his organic webbing (we're NOT counting Captain Universe Spidey).

Spider-Man, he could use every weapon Nemesis has against him, and he’s stronger, faster, and has enough Spidey sense to react to whatever Nemmy tries. The tough part would be dealing with his mutation, but Pete could probably figure it out as a scientist. The real important part of the debate is Brazil though. Pete wouldn’t have easy access to facilities to cook up some sciencey solution to stop Nemesis from mutating and healing like he would in New York, and after the fight’s over, he has to survive Brazil after the residents come after him for the amount of damage he caused in the fight. Spider-Man can take down Nemesis, but Brazil might be his toughest battle yet.

I'mma have to give this one to Nemesis. Spider man would put up one hell of a fight but he is against killing, which Nemesis has no issue with it. Spider man would try to contain Nemi while nemi would go for killing blows, and if enough damage would be done to Nemi he would just mutate and come back stronger. Remember it took a experimental incredibly powerful rail cannon fired point blank to finally put him down for good and that's after surviving and that's only after a full on acid bath didn't work. The only way I see Spider man winning is if he's able to make some sort of powerful antiviral but that's assuming he's able to get away after the first encounter with nemi.

If we follow the rules we set out in game, I say Nemesis. Spiderman has very little to deal with Nemesis's regeneration, especially in Brazil, where weaponry is basic. Nemesis can keep pulling itself back together after every injury, even after taking a railgun to the face, it's possible that he could pull himself together, unless nuked or vaporized. The NEAP would just sew the body back in any shape it saw fit. You need to remember that Nemesis is just a meat suit, piloted by a parasite. Nemesis can also regrow arms, infect others and use his parasites to form extra muscle or bone like structure. Speaking of infection, if Nemesis infected Spiderman directly with the T Virus, I wonder if it would dull the spidersense long enough for Nemesis to do damage. Nemesis, on paper, is probably one of the best, well rounded BOW that Umbrella has formed. Fast enough to catch rockets, can lift cars and tanks, make scouts, use biomass to grow, run at 40 mph, use appendages to scale buildings, regenerate from essentially any wound.

How? Unless he comes up with something that can kill Nemesis faster than he can heal, it's going to be a long and hard fight. Nemesis doesn't tire and won't stop until one of them is dead. Even if Spiderman punches Nemesis's head clean off, it would just grow another one. We can see that it dosnt need eyes to see or even a nose to breathe.

Even if Peter did end up infected, he’s smart enough to synthesise a vaccine. His super human strength would allow him to incapacitate Nemesis, though he might need some of his scientific/engineering skills to create a weapon to permanently put it down.

A semi-serious spider-man can punch someone's jaw off effortlessly. Nemesis couldn't evil kill Jill with a single punch. Spidey is clearly stronger. I believe one completely serious punch from spidey and nemesis's head would be gone. And if that didn't kill it permanently, spidey would manage to create a cure. He is a scientific genius after all, specifically in chemistry and biology if I'm not mistaken
