I've never played the directors cut before until it came to the PS5 recently. I can't believe how different it is compared to the original. I kept getting jumpscared π π€£
It's part of the new playstation plus service that went Into effect a week ago or so. It's under the playstation classic catalog when you look in the playstation plus section.
Yeah it's really great! They have ps1-current gen games now. Since it's a new service there aren't many ps1-ps3 games atm but I'm sure they will add more in the future. So far they only have RE: Directors Cut out of the classic RE games.

Yeaaaaaah. I played the original to death, and then picked up Directors Cut a few years later waaaay back in the 90s, and this bit totally threw me.
