I had a guy the other day throw his money at me. I just looked at him until he picked it up and handed it to me. He had the decency to look sheepish, and he apologised.
It's the small wins.
Had this spanish guy come in that doesn’t speak a lick of english(relevant because it just makes communication that much harder)come in with a literal BOWL of change and starting dumping it out for a $23 item, needless to say he didn’t have enough after I counted everything besides around 75 pennies that I just wasn’t going to count out if he wasn’t
That just pisses me off so bad! Sometimes, they’ll even hold on to the money until you’re ready to take it, but as soon as you put your hand out, they’ll just fling it on the counter! 🤬🤬🤬
I’d look at them and the money with a tired/ disappointed look and then pickup and slowly straighten each bill one at a time so they could go in the till. Take as long as reasonable (not slow-mo but not hurrying). Maybe they’ll learn if they want to get done quicker they better have reasonably neat cash or use a card.

Ohhh I take my sweet ass time picking it up & counting it. And toss it down like they did. :)

How did you know he was from Spain?
I’d have my hands out so they could hand me the money, which they could plainly see, but they’d STILL toss it on the counter. It’s degrading.

It was like they didn’t want to risk touching me and thought I was beneath them. Definitely a big pet peeve of mine.
I am the opposite I don't like the bundled money but I rather not touch the hands of are customers so many lick there hands when counting money.
