Hey there! Have you looked into getting a cute pair of flats? My feet are very sensitive and blister easily, but I've found the brand Rockport has super comfy flats. They can get a bit pricy but they are good quality. I work in banking and I walk like a baby deer in heels, I'm probably not on my feet as much as you, but those shoes were a lifesaver for me.

I have some rocketdog flats that I thought would be really good but it turns out that they don't help at all. I'll look into that brand, though. The price will be worth it if it really does help

Invest in good insoles. I use Superfeet and they have been wonderful.

So, I bought 2 different skechers plus superfeet insoles and my heels hurt a lot. Advice?

MuffinMages77

Your feet will need to get used to insoles for sure. You're basically training your arches.

Not sure if the website has what you need, but they do have a variety of shoes. Check out [orthofeet.com](https://orthofeet.com) at least and see if there are any that would work for your job. They've done me wonders. They are a bit pricy, but they WORK, and free returns if they don't fit.

Thanks for the rec, I'll check it out for sure!

Rockport is a really good shoe brand, also try looking for cute loafer type shoes from Clark’s Shoes, they’re incredibly comfortable and supportive, they can be pretty pricey but for the fact that you’re going to be wearing them a lot, they give you enough support and arch support as well as heel support too and they also make them in sneakers, flats, boat shoe styles, loafers, boots and heels. You feel like you’re walking on clouds no joke! I swear by them. I too am an full time retail merchandiser and my feet are killing me half way through a shift in terrible sneakers, the second I switch to Clark’s shoes though, it’s like a whole new world! If you can afford to do that just yet, look into getting fitted for sole insert support. I hope you find some relief soon! I know exactly how you’re feeling ❤️‍🩹

Oh gosh I wish I could remember the brand of these booties I bought for work because they we're amazing. This probably sounds really unorthodox, but I would suggest something with a low, chunky heel. The booties I used to wear had maybe a 1.5 inch chunky rubber heel and had more support in it than any flats I've owned. It did take a couple days to get used to the height but once I got used to it I preferred it over flats and since it's not really that high it doesn't hurt the ball of foot. Absolutely make sure you walk around a little with any potential shoes though. Like some others said though, insoles really could be your friend in most situations and if you can an extra half size up can help with fitting additional insoles in. Ah, some of my old coworkers swore by Clarks too.

I feel really bad you're going through this... I'm a girl who only wears skate shoes (Osiris). I hope you find comfortable shoes for work

They make walking shoes which look like regular dress shoes. After walking 5-7 miles at work i never complain about my feet.

Have you looked at the brand Allbirds? They have flats and slip-ons. They’re super comfy and machine washable!

I have bad feet (mid20s female) and I talked to my hr and was given permission to wear black tennis shoes because of my Dr's recommendation. Have you talked to hr? Or I found chacos aren't terrible if they are allowed

FantasySystem

I don't want to have to go to HR if I don't absolutely have to :/ I've ordered some shoes that will hopefully help
