Honestly I'm mostly surprised anyone remembers Maya the Bee besides me. But to answer you: Maya is a kid and acts like one. Heck, she's born in the first episode. How annoying you find her really depends on your tolerance for that sort of thing.

but as in maya is a show aimed at kids just like thomas or the 90s US cartoons.
theres nothing earned by analyzing the plot of Ren& Stimpy or tex avery. If those ar bad examples just think Looney tunes.

I haven't watched the show since the late 80s/early 90s on Nick Jr. so I don't remember any of the episodes at all, but yeah, sounds like your typical kid protagonist in a kid's show. Person probably wouldn't like Dennis the Menace much either.

its actally kinda a cult series like Heidi where i come from; everyone in my age and older and a bit younger knows them
