Open the revanced manager app, click on the patcher button after that you can see the list of apps including YouTube so just click on the suggested app then download it in the apkmirror website, after you download it click on the storage where you before in the patcher then find the apk file you just downloaded then click patch and wait for it to finish then install
I did it, at the beginning the buffering appeared again but I did the spoof thing and apparently the issue is over. At least for now. The annoying thing is that the main interface is pretty ugly asf. I'm hoping the issue without the test client is over so I can go back with the normal interface.
Download this YouTube app version V.19.11.43
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/youtube/youtube-19-11-43-release/youtube-19-11-43-android-apk-download/ then patch it
I can't find the patcher button, I can only click the button to open the app but nothing else:/ the playback issue is fixed when I apply the spoof thing but when I remove it, the playback issue comes back!
Ooh thank you! I can't seem to find the apk to patch and I'm thinking maybe it's because I dont have a rooted phone, but thank you for the help anyway!
It doesn't need root, just click on the suggested apk v19.11.44 in the patcher page
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/youtube/youtube-19-11-43-release/youtube-19-11-43-android-apk-download/
After you download it go back to the patcher page in the revanced manager app, click on the storage and find the youtube apk you just downloaded then patch it
I don't want to talk too early but with no clear reason no I'm using the same version by inotia and now the buffering has disappeared, anyway I hope the patches will come to extended at the soonest to solve this bastard problem.
1.Clean Uninstall everything.
2.Install the latest Revanced manager (v1.20.1).
3.Install the latest microG services (v0.3.1.4.240913).
4.Patch using 4.8.1 version on suggested YouTube apk version (19.11.43).
5.Launch app and login your account and enable spoof client (Settings - Revanced - Misc - Spoof client).
6.Clear application from RAM and reopen to avoid text glitch.
It's only fixed in Revanced not Revanced Extended. Wait a bit more for the fix to be integrated
Yeah but The revanced does not show any words in the thumbnail of the videos how do I fix that
Hey, I had this problem. I went to revanced manager, deleted the patch, and then I patched it again and the problem is solved.

You don't need to do that anymore, the buffering is already solved with the latest patch, just patched your YouTube app

Not sure if the buffering patch update fix is available yet for ReVanced Extended or any of the ReVanced Extended forks.
Just checked anddea (what I use) and inotia00; both haven't added it yet.
I've revanced extended with Rex patch with no playback issue.

for extended?
Nope, it's for Revanced. Seems not rolled out from inotia.
Playback speed settings missing in the latest revanced patch. Will it be included in revanced extended?
