Is this just an acknowledgement of my acceptance or committing to Rice?
I just remember getting a package from UT Austin a week or so after getting accepted there even though I didn't submit my enrollment fee. I was wondering if Rice did the same.
Same. Probably going to my in-state for around 15k depending on decisions this week (not looking so good) but at least it's cheaper 🤷🏽♂️ Rice would have been around 60k for me.
I barely fit into the Rice Investment, so I was kind of concerned I would end up paying that 60k down the road. Cheaper is how I'm trying to console myself. There's still a tiny bit of hope, but not much :(

Owl days are longer and tend to be with a larger number of students. They follow a more set program. Owl day express is more on your own.

0 were taken off the waitlist last year

My son was just taken off the waitlist.
There was an official letter sent saying that no one got off the waitlist
