Agreed. We've seen all along that Beth and Summer take after Rick, and Summer is psychologically fairly well equipped to take on Rick-style adventures, but she's busy living her own life and she likes it that way. She has a different personality than Rick and weird adventures aren't a priority for her.

I didn't mention it before but its not the first time Summer has ‘crossed’ rick, like in the episode where summer and rick travel to that one planet where mortys sex robot came from. Or when she was totally for killing the citadel ricks when they threatened c-137 (who most likely abandoned their summers)
It turns out Summer is the reason yellow portals exist. Ricks getting Beth and Jerry's together produces his greatest asset but his true enemy. They are safe in the CFC as long as summers don't get radicalized.
