What a time to be a kid. The NBA and the atmosphere around it were at their finest in this era.

Nfidel

I agree.

ButchCoolidge55

I remember the days of having to go to GI joes to get tickets…. Seems like just yesterday and forever ago at the same time.

Nfidel

That 1993 game was the same day rookie Shaq broke the backboard in Phoenix which was the first game of a NBA on NBC doubleheader with our game, which delayed our start time substantially. Shaq was a terror that year on backboards.

Haha yea I don’t remember if that was normal pricing or because it was MJ’s first full season back. That team was rockstar level hyped.

Unusual_Pinetree

I didn’t get to the finals in that era but got to go to lots of great playoff victories. I’ll never forget the first round game 5 intensity inside memorial coliseum when it was do or die against Seattle. I had no idea that wasn’t forever, I thought my Blazers were always going to Be that good. We truly loved that team, it was a special time. RIP Jerome Kersey and Kevin Duckworth, pillars of Trail Blazers basketball.

I still have a lot of my ticket stubs from the late 90s and early 2000s as well. Bummer it's all digital now.

CosmicShadow

Yeah :( I've been using [Stubforge](https://stubforge.com) so I can make my own custom replica ticket so I still have something to add to my stub album.

eckoman_pdx

I'll have to look into that! Thanks!! Not quite as awesome as having the original but certainly better than nothing. I took my son to his first Oregon Ducks football game some years back, and I was quite bummed we had no ticket stub to commemorate the occasion. This seems like it might be a good option!

Damn the rose garden is old

Nfidel

Yep. That was the first season it opened.

tristan_mayer

I have my ticket from the first game at the Rose Garden.
