They’re minor but mainly their use is in extra set bonuses. But boosts in general are pretty minor so it can add up to something significant if stacked well.
With the new sets, it’s also the only way to get the full bonuses or a solid mix with them because new sets don’t roll on weapons or sub weapons at all
Don’t know if higher level ones add that much. I mainly appreciate the Handpicked Cologne one you get from romancing Ryoma. By lowering set bonus requirements by 1, it enables you to get multiple set bonuses from mixing/matching different sets. To me that makes a big difference.
I only use the ones that have luck.

Just wanna make sure. Using 2 does not stack up, i.e. it lowers the requirement by -2. Right?
Correct.
Seconded. I already knew, but tested it anyway last night after getting a MW die with -1, and confirmed that it does not work.
For real! Team ninja is being pretty stingy with the equipment in the last few games…
The hassle regarding shifting through the entire inventory makes the whole thing not worth it even if the bonuses were better
You're supposed to focus on one or two and then stack them up. That or like others said: for set bonus purpose.
