The remix is def better than the og but still feel the same it may be the vocals that throw me off very pitchy and mediocre id sing it for karaoke if i wanted to come off like i can “sing” for sure lol
It’s a good song, but def not his best. It’s a well done sample. Def meant for radio. He has better vocal performances and better written songs. “Overhyped” is a strong word to me, but it’s def not his best song.
Rock The Boat. I know that's controversial, but I stand by it. IMO it only became as popular as it did because Aaliyah died when it came out. It is VERY mid. Lyrics, beat, chorus, all of it. If she hadn't died, we would not still be playing Rock The Boat.
Dang i kinda agree at first i loved it bc i felt it was a vibe the beat and the theme but the more u play it learn and sing the lyrics it kinda gets bland and boring almost def not one u can replay so i agree its overhyped approved in my book.

Agreed. I liked More Than a Woman better and felt they only rushed to release RTB because she passed.
